How are the axles holding up? Do they seem balanced enough or do they have vibrations?

i havent had any issues with them yet, no vibrations either. My guess is that the CVs will fail before the axles do, but no issues with those yet either!

What is the inner fender made of? It looks like you were using a heat gun to melt them.

its sheetmetal, the heat gun was just to heat the material so that I could bend it easier. you could also use a torch

@@ricoracing1646 Did the heat gun actually get the steel hot enough to make a difference?

yes it did, but its also a very powerful heat gun. I often use it to pound dents out and bend sheetmetal. Its much easier to use than a torch but more expensive.

I’m happy to see young men like yourself experimenting and learning fabrication. You will learn quickly what works and what doesn’t. I like how you bent the cut edges over.

What class were you racing that in ?

it would have been a class 5 1600 legal car but wouldn’t have been very competitive. we were racing with Y.O.R.R. so we were just in the 1600 class.
