Bob B I have enjoyed you Lehigh Valley series very much as it brings back many good memories. Sad to see some things gone. My parents were from South Bethlehem and Fountain Hill. My grand parents, uncles, aunts and cousins lived in the Bethelhem/Fountain Hill area. I just remember the LV Transit trolleys that used to pass my grandmothers house on Seneca in Fountain Hill. 👍
You know if someone is a native of Bethlehem by their pronunciation of it. I lived there till age 15. When I moved to NJ I had to change my pronunciation so people understood me.
Great content, watching tonight with a former Employee of the Steel! Great stuff!
That side by side footage was amazing. You should release shorts like that

Great video.
The Southside a great place to grow up in the 60’s and 70’s.
Thank you for sharing our proud and rich history. There should a museum to catalog and archive your meticulous research and work. Of the LVRR.
Great work on that. Thank you for posting this.
Really enjoyed the video Ron!
Great stuff. And now I know how to pronounce Bethlehem. Belen in New Mexico is Spanish for same.

Are there street maps of South Bethlehem from approximately 1900?
The Library of Congress has maps available on line. You can probably find some here: www.loc.gov/collections/?q=maps
Call me stupid but I walked across that bridge when I was a kid. Had no idea it was over 100 years old
it's bizarre living here! I tell ya
Awesome video! Is there any chance we could find those aerial pictures from 79 online anywhere?
