Not according to tons of younger people today, I don't even know how the discussion is between MJ & LeBron but it is. I'm not sure I would put LeBron in my top 5 but there is an army out there claiming he's the best ever. I'm flabbergasted by it.
I definitely miss parts of it. The Sonics! MJ, Seattle being the center of the rock music universe. Being young an attractive. Yep, 90's were good to me.
This guy retirement 3 times from NBA First after first 3 peats Second after second 3 peats The last after wizzard Does anybody from nba like this? Dammnnnnn true legend 😊😊😊
this is such rare footage. as a huge mj fan thanks so much for the upload. Is there anyway I could get this on dvd ? This would be a great addition to my collection
After watching the heartfelt tribute to MJ from Charles Barkley, it seems such a shame that Jordan and Barkley are no longer FRIENDS. Maybe Charles can make a new commercial saying "If I can dream, I'd want to be LIKED by Mike."
Jerry Krause was an asshole. But he hit it right on the nail. The real reason he was really that way was his parent's. That character came from them...
Yeah, in some way or another, but since he's jumped all over the country he won't get the love from a particular city I wouldn't think. But he gets pushed for ratings, he ain't close to MJ to me.
Some cringey moments here and there. This ceremony could've been prepared and executed better. (But in hindsight, looking at how things transpired after, perhaps it's a sign they should've waited until 1999 to do it.)
Α perfect example of how good were the americans in public relations and pseudo-epic spectacles...I am also a fan of MJ's basketball career, but this is a bit ridiculous...I wonder how much did that ticket cost and what was MJ's income from that obscurity alone....Of course he was a great athlete but if he could be less greedy and a little more concerned about aesthetical aspects....Look at the suit....Really??? This was considered fashionable? And, also, Sinbad and Boyz 2 Men are pathetic.......
Believe it or not he didn't want to do this. You can than Hollywood and the NBA for turning a retirement into a ridiculous spectacle. Wonder if Krause's wife crying was included on TV?
When you are able to bring superstars to celebrate a superstar that is impact unlike no other
A couple years later, another 3-peat in the books. UNDISPUTED GOAT.

Wow .. they gathered the legends for Mj's "retirement".
The greatest of all time M AIR J #23!
i love the 90s!
You and me both
I definitely miss parts of it. The Sonics!
MJ, Seattle being the center of the rock music universe. Being young an attractive. Yep, 90's were good to me.
First time i watched this as a whole. Mj forever!
Phil said MJ would retire at 40...Nostradamus over there.
This guy retirement 3 times from NBA

The last after wizzard

Dammnnnnn true legend 😊😊😊
Sinbad was supringsly funny. Man I miss the 90’s
The opening of this video is a real side-splitter, laugh out loud funny

Justin Daven
i wish he would have come back after this.. he really looked like he could still play
Jordan won 3 more #CHIPS after this tribute! #IWannaBeLikeMike #GOAT
This is when he went to play baseball after his father died... he returned 6 months after this was made
Watching this was better than the NBA Finals

I WITNESSED THIS AS IT HAPPENED!!!
Bobby Knight trying his hardest not to spazz. God he rules.
Wow! OSCAR ROBERTSON AND DEAN SMITH. GREAT!
As I look at this I can't help but think POOR MICHAEL. You can tell he didn't want to be there. I'm sure he was coerced.
Jerry Reinsdorf used up all Scottie’s money on Jordan’s gifts😖😂
THE GREATEST 👌 MICHAEL JEFFREY JORDAN 23 🔥🐐🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆
Scottie signed a bad contract. That was on him.....
He got paid later he's fine.
White socks killed me.
MJ prolly thinking damm I'll come back just stop all this foolishness
Lebron who?
Damn at the time one 3Peat got you all that love and admiration…😂
🐐…. Baaaa !
and he comes back 4 months later. lol
H
Its sad Jordan and Pippen arent brothers as of right now.
did he say "take that in your crackpipe"??
Yep
Why is it just number 23 not number 9 12 and number 45
Obviously because he hadn't wore 45 at this point in time an his entire career to this point he wore 23 while in Chicago.
Jerry Krause was an asshole. But he hit it right on the nail. The real reason he was really that way was his parent's. That character came from them...
When did he die?
2dasimmons I believe in 2014'
Okay, thank-you. He seemed like a good coach. Very caring and old school.
@@2dasimmonsHe was the general manager not the coach
if parents were such failures
we wouldnt need such things for kids “who fall thru the cracks”
7:38 pippen
what year was this ceremony ?
+Michael Chen 1994
Maybe Lebron will get the same tribute when he retires? What do y’all think? #MJ#1forever

Why all this BS when he knew he was coming back

that suit is immaculate compared to the insanity I see today
You're a hater
@jaboo82681 I know right

Thank god his ability to play was the exact opposite of his taste in clothes...
+γιώργος δ. Thats the color of North Carolina if you didn't know. When you go to college you always pay homage to your Alma Mater.
He looks great. What are you talking about?
Terrible take.
