- No weapons completion of Fatalis in 13'58"03. The run relies on the use of the wyvernstake glitch, but substitutes the palico gadget meowcano instead of gunlance with 2x bombs/snowman.
This attempt wasn't particularly optimized so definitely room for improvement. By using attack up L HH to buff palico damage the initial tick damage goes up from 35 to 43.
I didn't want to use any of the arena tools (Cannons, Roaming Ballista, Dragonator etc) to highlight the damage potential of meowcano.

@@KabrTheLostcan I ask what purpose the snowman has? I only know of the snowman having a use with the gunlance because of how wyrmstakes work. Does it do the same thing with Meowcano?

Did you have to do it a couple times because of your fps? Cause i know at a higher fps there are way more damage procs.
On PC with 144fps+ you can indeed one shot fatalis with this but on a console at 60fps each time it will do 10k and fatalis has 66k so you'd have to do it at least 6 times.
EDIT: You can buff Palico with wide range, rally skill, hh song which would decrease the amount of times needing to set up at 60fps.

In fact, can you try with dufferent monster to see how it works? Maybe you need to sleep them? Or the meowcano awakes them? Or paralyze?
So when and why do you use the flash pod? I see u using it after telling palico to meowcano, but why other times aswell?
Actually , can you just make a full guide?
Flashpod activates the fight allowing the meowcano to actually do damage without aggroing fatalis
@@dudknight nope. it stops her from stepping away from the palico. if you dont flash she just moves away and doesnt aggro still

Was this done on series x or PC? I know framerate determines how much damage you do
How do you consistently pull off 25percent of its hp each rotation? I tried it with a safi horn and even auxl I still consistently get these burst numbers lol. And yes I am running the same skills albeit with only 2pc fatalis and a bunch of random equipment to get the core skills
They won’t answer for make tutorial , gatekeeping , but I think it’s pretty random dmg

it's fps based, the higher consistent fps the higher dmg it does since it's a tick rate thing
The more fps the more damage. i got her to last phase with just one meowcano on 144 fps

Yo, during any Meowcano after the first, Fatalis keeps moving backwards whenever he gets flashed. It's a bit inconsistent as it is, but how do you keep him from moving backwards?

Does not work for me , I do it like 5 times and quest times out, each tick does 41 dmg for me.
Need the snowmans, they glitch the palico gadget and make it proc multiple times

Maybe just like the snowman gunlance bug, it depends also on fps. Higher fps, higher tick and higher dmg build up.
I increased game fps to 240 and was able to do it in 4-5 cycles with 13 minutes the fastest run. Dont know if Fps is tied but when i tried at 60 fps, i couldnt consistently kill fatalis.

I want to make this work consistently. Sometimes, it works that I'm instantly on the 2nd phase. But after that, it takes a couple of tries and the damage is not enough 😅
I am running on 130+ fps during this, somehow some of the meowcanno pallets just flies out waking him up in like 10 seconds? Any idea what i did wrong i did exactly the same as in the video
These are honestly fun to do after I’ve already beaten fatalis over and over the regular way lol. Just trying to fill in time before Wilds 😢

I tried this its too inconsistent sometimes fatalis moves backwards thus whiffing the meowcano and other i dosent do enough that i time out
if you put your meowcano stack too near, fatty will step back. the sweet spot is just in front of his hands.
All that work and effort, and the game doesn’t even reward you with a single Evil Eye.
So not only did the palico do most of the work, but fatalis got finished off by a rock. Talk about doubling down on the disrespect, damn 😂
Could you explain this cheese in struggling with fatalis. Where do u get this snowman thing is it possible to use smoke bomb while under fatalis to put the barrel bombs and meowcano?

Just wanna know if its reenactable or not with ps4 or ps5 since this glitch requires high fps
I play on PS5 with resolution mode cause you get 1800p checkerboarded but a locked 60fps in all but the most particle effect heavy scenarios like when 4 players are beating on a down and the crit effect is flooding the screen. This exploit is particle effect heavy so on a PS5 to make this exploit consistent use framerate mode to keep a locked 60fps. If you buff out your palico with wide range and palico rally and hunting horn you can feasibly see about 15k-20k damage so for fatalis with 66k hp you'd have to do it 4 times to get his health low enough.
Does it work on ps4 or do I need 120 fps + for this to work?

Oh for sure! the attack up L HH does boost the tick damage from 35 to 43. I'm in the process of optimising the run so hopefully it'll save some time.

I see after testing the main issues are getting it to proc multiple times in the first place and hitting the head and chest instead of the legs.
first trial i got him down to 20%
Yes I'm trying now definitely not easy to do. Put to forward small damage 3-4. Put it to far backwards no damage won't hit.

Can someone explain to me how does this work?
Theres a strange but small bug in the game, it makes it so projectiles travelling through objects multiply. This works by placing three objects (2 barrel bombs and 1 snowman) before placing the Palico inside the objects and whistling meowcano. Thus multiplying the meowcano explosion and dmg. The damage output relies entirely on your systems FPS, higher FPS equals more dmg and such. It doesn’t matter if the whole explosion doesn’t hit the monster, only the last explosion has to.
Thats the best that i can explain it, im not an expert in these things. I know that this glitch also works when using a gunlance.

Not what I'm doing wrong. I set the mega bombs, the snow man then light the palico under but almost no dps
I think tis gltich works bette with higer framerates, if u play on a console it might not be possible to do that much damage
It's just simply not consistent. I wouldn't even bother with it. I've been trying it for hours and can't even get it to work a single time.

Why the flash pod?
Apparently he won't receive damage without the fight "starting" so the flash pods "start" the fight

You might not be placing the meowcano directly under the snowman the trick is to make sure your cat is in the snowman before calling meowcano. So the bug works where meowcano is under the snowman

Yes you can- I've used this for eye farming after realising 2 legit kills is enough for me... make sure you're in performance mode. The damage might not be as high due to FPS on console but it still feels like a consistent 15%ish health per meowcano. If you use the roaming ballista and dragonator etc it's still easily done in 20 minutes. (You can still use the cannons/wallbang setup after the opening meowcano if you think you need that little extra damage.)
No evil eye with this method though.

im sorry what? last time i checked solo fatalis has 66,000 hp, how in actual gogs infernal earth did you go through that much health in 13 minutes with from what i saw, 2 maybe 3 uses of the meowcano, a couple of mega barrel bombs (which in my opinion is not "palico only") and a couple slinger hits plus a clutch claw "grab" (again, NOT "palico only"). There's a lot of shit here that doesn't seem to add up. even with max palico rally, it just doesn't make any sense how you can go through that much health in so little time. i need some answers.

It's a glitch, the hitboxes of all the stuff on the palico overlap when the meowcano hits them which effectively multiplies the projectiles for everytime they hit something new. It's very hard to get the positioning right.
