well since this is originally based on its first version of carnaval in pest (S.242/22) so the early coda has been included in there and then liszt also gave an extra use to the same coda for his 14th hr so you're technically listening to an arrangement of the earlier version of hr9 lol
I can't believe I'm just now discovering this. This is such a joyous gem! Also, I wonder if 4:48 is a reference to the heavily contrapuntal section from Chopin's "Tristesse" étude.
@@drumclef3241 Glad to see young people interested in relatively obscure chamber music. :) I remember when youtube launched, I thought to myself: this won't work, the ability to make and edit videos is a privilege. Then smart phones became ubiquitous within a couple of years. Also, strange to think that initially there was a 10-minute max. limit on uploads.
Not Liszt's best effort. One can clearly see that he was a pianist and had no clue how to effectively write for Piano Trio. Lots of the passagework he gave to the piano in the arrangement he should have given to the strings instead.
11:14 for the most epicest bass drop in 19th century. youre welcome
Variations on Beethoven’s Turkish March* -Liszt . Best base drop

re-entry of orchestra after cadenza in the first movement of Prok 2
That’s 20th century
It's fun to hear Hungarin Rhapsody No.14 at the ending :)
It almost looked like S.242 no.22

@@abnergutierrez366 lmao yea, even hr 12 for piano and violin is S.242/18 and S.244/12 combined, S.244/12 coda is in the hr 12 for violin and piano

Wonderful, my favorite rhapsody by Liszt. This trio version is astonishing.

Mine is 12 with violin :)
Piano Trio Hungarian Rhapsody! And my favorite one! Amazing!
Lmao liszt even made liszt style cadenza on violin
4:19 and mostly 4:45
U r awesome, guys! Keep foot against all these fycking odds!
Oh yes, i do adore rhapsodies with violin and piano!!
Oh, thanks a lot for this publication
From 12:38 to 13:08 it's just pure unbridled fun. Liszt was having a ball when he wrote those measures.
You’ve been on RUclips a couple years longer than I’ve been alive apparently lmao

元々のピアノ独奏版が好き!😊
Great. I have a question. Who arranged this rhapsody to trio. Liszt himself or?
liszt himself did according to IMSLP
@@Medtner26 Wow, that's something. Thanks for the answer 👍
Is it Liszt’s own arrangement ?

When Liszt -becomes- agrees with Paganini:
Hunque de junque.
Kitsch.

Yeah… the passage from 2:50 to 3:33 is just embarrassing ahahah
