This would have probably been a more popular game if it wasn't similar in a lot of ways to the Arkham games but with worse mechanics and much worse writing.
I think the opposite is true. This game isn't anything like the Arkham games, if it was more heavily inspired by those games I think it would've had greater success.
@@TheRealComicBookGamer the combat is pretty similar (chain long combos together, counter button replaced with teleport) to get XP to upgrade a skill tree... It's not that similar because of all the Batman stuff (detective work, cooler gadgets) and gun use but when I first started I thought it was a straight up Arkham ripoff until I played a couple hours.
I was disappointed by this game but still had a good time with it regardless. Just thought it could’ve been better gameplay wise
