49 years old now and remember when this first came out and how I seriously worn my cassette out ....(Remember cassettes kids??)🤣🤘....Great band even better live....
I was 15 when I first heard about Ugly Kid.. Still listen to this day over 30 years old! Such great musicians! My pop and I send your songs back and forth all these these years just to remind us of certain times!
Let the burning bridges tumble down, Let the water come and flood the ground, Burn a hole into this auburn sky, I only wanna be walking by your side. When I see tomorrow I see you there, When I look around I see you everywhere, Your face is etched into my mind, And when it's all said and done, I'm feeling like the milkman's son. Let your dark spirits fly away, Come again but you won't count again, Spend the last time of my worthless life, I only wanna be walking by your side. When I see tomorrow I see you there, When I look around I see you everywhere, Your face is etched into my mind, And when it's all said and done, I'm feeling like the milkman's son.
Does a bear shit in the woods? Wipe it’s ass with a rabbit? Don’t know!? I’m pretty sure though I am listening in 2019! Time machine I used though, I may be off a decade or two!? F’ing cummtwat!!!
Chit..Whenever I get the chance, my 11 yr old son and I "ROCK OUT" to this song...hahaha..when no one is around.🙃🙃😅😅😰😰😰he says, "That I trip him out"..Good Stuff✌✌✌
I LOVE this band! Reminds me of crusin' w/ the T-tops out of my 86 GT w/ my then GF (now my wife of 17yrs) wearing out UKJ tapes! We saw them live also, they opened for Def Lep if I remember right, and completly KILLED IT!!! I LOVE ME SOME UGLY KID JOE!!!!
When i see tomorrow i see you there, when i look around i see you everywhere... back then it was me looking after girls. After i got my beautiful daughter this just makes more sense than ever...
when Menace to sobriety released, I was still rockn' the cassettes. ( for the younger generation, a cassette is the thing we listened to before cds and mp3s lol ) This was the first CD I got, along with my first cd player for Christmas. I still remember it, a Sony portable with bass boost. I would jam this album at full volume with the boost on. surprisingly I didn't go deff. to this day I still crank this up. Ahh the memory's lol
They still are playing live...KILLING IT.... saw them at Rock City Nottingham England a year or so ago. They were AWESOME! Been 23 years since I saw them last.
First time i heard the song ugly kid joe was the support act at Wembley Stadium london for jon bon jovi These days tour. This song always stuck with me after that sun was shining song was hitting . he really did have Green eyes was near the stage just remember the sun shining that song and the guy singing had green eyes. Lols and of course jon bon jovi GREAT Memories x
UKG was one of the ones that should have blown up for sure. Especially when you realize that their drummer is Godsmack's drummer, definitely got more press with Godsmack but oh the places this band could have gone
I like how patriotic Whitfield Crane is. I used to have this album(menace to sobriety) but I lost it when I moved out of my parents' house back in '99.
Happy WHO DEY Thursday, I just listened to America's Lease Wanted the other day at work. UKJ was one of the bands that didn't get the credit they SO deserved. Keep Rockin.... CHEERS
This song helped me through some real shitty times back then in the nineties and the energy of particularly this song basically kept me going. So this band still means so much to me. Happy greetz from the Netherlands 🇳🇱
September 2019.... watching this reminiscing about September 1994 - 25 years ago seeing these in London for my VERY first rock gig!!! 🤘🤘🤘🤘 I miss 90's rock
This song always meant so much to me , just to heavy to describe it's impact, left in me deep impression, as it said starts between the legs and goes through the heart, then to the head ,and after all these years when I hear it again I am like mad dog feeling inflow of energy, always reminds me why I love it so much.
@TheExploit91 They still playin. Music still awesome as ever as posted here. That's what matters. Alot of bands when through that in the 90s. The Ugly Kid Joe is better. Look at The Verve, had one hit and that's it, frontman went solo.
@@silentgroyper5069 They got too much too soon back then, and just stumbled after that, like Skid Row, or even GNR. It makes a band last more if it doesn't make it to the top, at least not at the very beginning. Than they have to do the hard way and will not be disappointed if they can't keep up the success and are dropped by the label/MTV, etc.
This is one of those bands that i never listened to for years, and I never really went back to them because I kind of thought they were a band from my past that I wouldn't really dig now. But man... they write some truly great songs. I would love to see this live.
I got to see Ugly Kid Joe on a club date! Rocked out hard as they played LOUD AF! LOL. Got to meet n hang out with the lead singer Whitfield Crane. He gave me a UKJ band sticker! Miss the 90s! 🤟🔥🔥
I was a glam rocker...but have heard ukj over the years and really came to enjoy their music....watched this vid for first time cause I love this song....was reminded why 90s music sux....an ugly video.....almost depressing like all that 90s nonsense.....I still love this song...watch Talk Dirty to Me ......a band having fun....and settle down grunge lovers we won....if you don't believe me check out Motley Def Poisons ticket sales......still a great tune great respect to UKJ!!
