For the longest time, Halocene was about Addie’s insanely good high notes. Nowadays, since you incorporate Brad’s low notes and screams as a contrast, it seems like you as a band found your “final form”. Awesome song, i like the way you guys are going :)

This! I never realized it until Halocene covered Linkin Park. But as soon as I heard Brad singing on those songs, I realized that his tone is super, super similar to Chester’s. 🤯
Not discounting Brad’s screams. They certainly have their place. Especially in this song. But it’s so nice to hear his “singing” voice in addition to his “screaming” voice.

Brad is doing something that lots of screamer don't do : he puts his whole heart and his entire body into his screams. What an emotional and powerfull scream's part!!
This reads as someone who has no idea what actually goes into that technique and just wants to full throat a pretty average vocalist

I love the contrast here. The synthesiser that plays during Addie's vocals and the metal track that plays for Brad really sets the mood. Seductive and dangerous synths and the tormented, screaming agony of the metal guitar...
This is is meant with all due respect to your other originals, they're all amazing. But, this. This is the one. This feels like an elevation of this bands skillset to a top tier. This feels "band defining" good. Absolute quality in every aspect of this production. Immensely proud of you guys 🤘

So different to your other originals but still just as addictive! I love that Brad is taking the lead in vocals 😍😍. The instruments from low to high in an instant works so well! And I love Addie's quiet harmonies, so Brad shines out more. I love Joe's cameo, it works so well 😂. The video is obviously incredible, again a step up from before. I absolutely loved this song. You took different elements from different genres and combined them in a spectacular way !! Incorporating Brad's voice with Addie is also an element that adds a lot in my opinion. The creativity and style that you have to compose is enormous, and then to interpret it ... well ... for something I subscribed to this channel some time ago.
Also an absolute fan of Joe on drums, I think you should have given him a little more prominence!! I wish you success for your future projects! Long Live Halocene.
Filmed during quarantine, so we were limited. But with this one's story, we didn't want to force a part for Joe that was too involved as the idea was breaking down inside a home alone / going crazy / fighting inner demon. Addie is all in Brad's head. Is she really there? Or is she the personification of his inner demons... the "devil" on his shoulder telling him to do bad things?

I've been listening to this song almost daily.
I don’t know where to begin with this. There’s so much to dissect and process from this. There’s so much going on I think I’ll need to listen again before I make my final thoughts but initially I feel every time I listen to this I’m going to pick up on something now. I’m the vocals are totally on point as always. The instrumentals are amazing. I’m loving the synth in this one the breakdown is so good.
The feel of the video is so relevant in the current covid situation, the feeling of isolation, loneliness with your darker thoughts slowly creeping into your head as each day passes but contrasting Addie portraying the dark voice with brighter lighting gave me the feeling of putting a brave face on for the world and trying to ignore what’s going on inside your head.
Toward the end seeing Brad staring out the window really hit home for me with measures being announced today that We can’t mix with another household in my city really makes that whole loneliness vibe hit home harder. This really is an amazing video that can be interpreted differently as time goes on but it’s always going to be relatable to everyone who sees it for one thing or another
