Exactly what I said and they settle for a nice guy because there forced to because bad boys don't stick around. So as they also said sure they "technically win" but only by default and now you got a lady with a lot of issues from those bad relationships so your not really winning.
Zombieland is a love letter to zombie movies. It embraces the fandom around it along with the troupes and rules of the genre

One of the greatest horror comedy movies ever made! When I was a kid watching The Walking Dead I came up with rules and plans for a zombie apocalypse as well.
And I can sympathize with Tallahassee about his Twinkie obsession, for me it would be Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups.

"28 Days Later" (2002) was a pseudo-zombie movie where the infected were not technically dead, but were so enraged they could run including "Dawn of the Dead " (2004). It kind of started a trend of running zombies . Traditional zombies movies had slow shuffling zombies that were actual dead flesh that was decomposing and would eventually fall apart.
Fast zombies have been a thing longer than that. Return of the Living Dead back in the 80's had fast zombies.
The Og Night of the Living Dead had one: the cemetery zombie Barbara gets chased by.
Also, World War Z those frickers could practically parkour 🤣
28 Days Later is a zombie movie, not just pseudo. Conforms to the genre conventions for one, and for two zombies are merely automatons, they don't need to be dead (zombie is a voodoo term that equates to human automaton, the living dead are 'revenant', and it's thanks to Romero creating the 'zombie film' genre that we conflate the two concepts into one)

Voodoo zombies are drugged and convinced they're the waking dead, so they're still considered a form of undead, even if it's only in their own mind.
the stories around zombies in afrocaribbean cultures are somewhat vague and conflicting on a number of points, the common through-line is that they become forms of living automaton with no conscious will of their own, be they animated dead or merely repurposed humans (like 40K's servitors).
The concept of a ravenous corpse returning to life to feast on the living pre-dates acquisition of the term 'zombie', and has been described fairly consistently by the term 'revenant'
Regardless of which, the genre conventions established by Romero are what we think of when we picture a 'zombie movie', and 28 Days Later, The Last Of Us, and a bunch of other media that don't feature revenants, still fit the bill =)

Loved the sequel possibly more than this one and totally agreed with the decision to keep Abigail Breslan as little rock even though she's visibly much older than the timeline allows.

Fun fact. The amusement park in the movie is really Wild Adventures in Valdosta, Ga. It’s my hometown and most of the movie was filmed there. Woody would go play football with the college students on the main campus yard during filming. The factory where they met the girls is the old Crackin Good factory I had to ride by on the bus every day to my middle school

Just think the ladies need to keep the quiet part quiet, comes off as entitled and zero self esteem/respect. Not a lot of decent men are going to slide into that emptied space willingly. Desperate ones, or the ones who call them selves the nice guys but are just closeted abusers might, but the actual decent ones? Nah.

Zombieland is brilliant, has one of the best openings I’ve ever seen. It’s just such a good movie and easily one of the best zombie movies out there.
I love how the film is made, the chemistry the cast had with each other was brilliant. I think my favourite moments are Bull Murray’s death, it’s sad but fucking funny at the same time, the scene where Tallahassee reveals Bud is actually his son, that breaks me every time and when he finally gets his Twinkie
I will forever have a crush on Emma Stone 😂 something about her voice really gets me (obviously amongst other things I'm not gonna lie.) But this was such a good movie. Its one of my all time favorite Zombie comedies. I'm sure ive seen more than this and Shaun of the Dead but still they are in my top 3. Loved the reaction, the Bill Murray part was chef's kiss.

Fast zombies has been a thing for a while now. Granted, this is from about 15 years ago. Train to Busan is a reccomendation.

Idk if you both seen ( the strangers) , it's a really good movie that's loosely based on a true story , the movie ( Cujo ) it's a classic Stephen King horror movie and it's also loosely based on a true story , of a Saint Bernard dog named travers the king heard , that went crazy and deleted a women in maine in 1981

I always hated the way they implied Jessie’s character was soft because he wasn’t. He had his rules that clearly served him well cuz he was still alive. You don’t call someone who is actively surviving a freaking zombie apocalypse “…a bit of a bitch.”🤨

Another great Zombie movie y'all will love is "Warm Bodies", it's a Zombie love story 🙂 And if you want a non-stop hilarious Zombie movie, I highly recommend "Shaun Of The Dead" with Simon Pegg(who also plays Scotty in the new Star Trek movies;as well as the alien comedy "Paul", with the voice of Seth Rogen‼️) Much ❤️ from Seattle ‼️

You two should check out 'Return of the Living Dead'. It started the zombies eating brains trope, had the first consistently fast zombies, and is just absurd fun.

Talking about throwing away shots. Well I was 26, I went to a friend of mine's wedding. And his father had bought a $25,000 bottle of Scotch for the groom's toast. He knows that I didn't drink. But his father insisted on pouring all of us a shot of that Scotch. I told him to his face... you are wasting your money on me. And when everyone went for the toast, I poured mine into the planter.

@@deepermind4884 Again, I don't drink alcohol. So I have no idea what brand of Scotch it was. I know how old it was, it was about 120 years old. And his father made sure we all knew how much it cost. He's one of those people.

By the way, the most expensive Scotch for sale right now is $380,000.

Good reaction but I guess I have to be the jerk about this lol. Are y'all really going to sit there and talk to us about nice guys and bad boys and think anything you said can really be spun in a positive light? So you discard of all the good men to bang the bad boys and once you get it out of your system; which is essentially you realizing they don't care about you, he's a player that will never commit while you're getting closer to 30. Now you're ready to "settle" for a nice guy. Essentially picking a financially stable man who you have no attraction to but provides security. Wow, that sounds fantastic an encouraging. It went the opposite, old movies use to make Blood way to bright red, then it went to way to dark Red, looking more like Syrup than Blood. If you have blood that Dark and Thick there's something wrong with you.
I've seen this movie and reactions to it so many times that mirrored shots were really messing with me :)
