And yet as a Big Name in Hollywood he did NOTHING to stand up and fight RID/Regulation rules in the US governing the RC Hobby but I bet he applied for a Personal FRIA to be able to enjoy his Hobby while many others rights to do so have and are being denied . if I am wrong about that send me a link or article showing it is ? Many big names in the entertainment world do such things as well ,as many FPV and RC Hobby related Gurus on YT but not a one stood up to stop the destruction of this RC hobby
I've been asking this question a few times maybe you can clarify this for me.... Is it legal to fly these large RC a/c in the US ? or do you need a special waiver from the FAA ? Thx
@@Boeing767DriverAA My understanding is aircraft that weigh more than 55 pounds require an exemption to fly. This exemption is called a Special Authority for Certain Unmanned Aircraft Systems (U.S.C. 44807) Part 107 is limited to 55 lbs and below anything above that weight falls under that 44807 special auth. One has to request Auth from the FAA to operate larger aircraft. I do not fly such aircraft and I do not know the steps involved but it is not the same as flying recreational 49 U.S. Code § 44809 ( exemption for recreational ) or Part 107 commercial certificate etc I assume because Perry has to have that authorization he will not rock the boat or speak against the FAA's overreaching regulations regarding our flying Toys. Lol
as real as it gets
Tyler Perry has suddenly become interesting.
