I absolutely love that Steinberger L2/5 Eric Serra is playing. No bass sounds quite like that. I bought a Steinberger Spirit bass just because of this film and in 9 months I taught myself to play the Conga Bass part from this movie. :)
@@EdEditz you just told a guy who has a vhs cassette of it somewhere how to use google. if you told him to find some lyrics book from the 80s he'd probably succeed
@@shrinocri He seemed happy enough with my reply and I think he knows how to look for lyrics too. I doubt these lyrics were published in the 80's and how the heck would I know how to find such a lyrics book, let alone pass that info on to him?
That Steinberger L2 bass Eric Serra uses in the film. Definitely gave the songs that strong baseline in the movie especially this song

It's funny how the crowd is dressed as punks but the music is like Huey Lewis.
or Toto
my favourite part is that the saxophone makes the sound of a guityar.
Do you like Huey Lewis & The News?
I sooooooo love this movie!
best besson film
Ma jeunesse et pour moi l’un des meilleurs films au monde
"I'm going to call you later."
I think that is actually Eric Serra on the bass.
Indeed it is, he’s such a talented musician/composer. I love his music and compositions
@@SilverSnowstorm The music to Le Grand Bleu is fantastic - his work of genius.
Where's the rest of it? 😭
Great film, I still have the VHS cassette somewhere. Does anybody know where I can find the lyrics of this wonderful song?
Just google it. The song is called "Guns and People" by Eric Serra.
