  • Modern biological applications such as sequencing or cell imaging generate vast amounts of data, necessitating scalable, reproducible, and easily deployable data processing.
Nextflow is an open-source workflow management software that facilitates reproducible and scalable data processing by integrating with modern software tooling including containers, and flexible support for multiple distributed compute executors.
Seqera Platform elevates Nextflow’s built-in capabilities by providing a shared environment for monitoring and deploying Nextflow pipelines at production scale in your local, HPC, or cloud environment. Programmatic interfaces to the Platform, such as an API, a CLI and SeqeraKit (a python wrapper around the CLI), allow you to set up everything as infrastructure as code and automate event-driven data processing with Nextflow.
In this tutorial, Ken Brewer (Senior Developer Advocate, Seqera) and Edmund Miller (Bioinformatics Engineer, Seqera) will provide an introduction to Nextflow and Seqera Platform and showcase how they can help you automate your complex data processing pipelines on your infrastructure.
