Recorded over 20 years ago but still sounds very contemporary. That's the beauty of very good music.
OMG this man has the voice of the age, so masculine and unaffected. Why he has not gotten the accolades that folk with 0.00000000000000000000000001% of his talent get all day long, is one of the great mysteries of the century. He has what they used to call "a signature in his voice" which you just don't get anymore. Actually there are very few singers with that; you can count them on one hand and have fingers left over. Thank you Will! We long for your voice! I don't say "a voice like yours" because Luther Vandross, in an old interview, said that say such a thing was, for him, an insult. You don't want to sound "LIKE" anyone else. He went on to say that he was very grateful that no one had ever told him that he "sounded like" anyone else. The same goes for his highness, Will Downing. AND...of course, he surrounds himself with fellow show-stopper Gerald Albright and even though I don't know the other musicians, they are alway--here and on all his recording--the absolute "annointed" ---from the drummers to guitarists to the pianist---oh my my my! You can take them all to the bank! lol.

He came to Chicago/ Counry Club Hills this year and he did an incredible job! He brought this Sax player-he is FIRE. That SAX MAN CAN PLAYYYYY- HE IS BADDDD. There were 3 background male singer...they could SANG.
