While my England is more like your average 40 yo dad who grew up long ago, which means he ofc has some things from back then ( punishing his children when they have done something bad, by slapping their fingers with a ruler as an example, but he tries to rid himself of that habit, always being shocked with himself when he so much as yells angrily at his kids and feels guilty and apologizes after ) He has his fair share of troubles and he needs to grow as a character and some things aren't easily forgotten ( Revolutionary war, Boston massacre,.. ), yet he does love America, Canada, Australia and New Zealand like a father would
