I use mine as a true head up display when I'm flying, yes, as in my airplane. I display the output of my AHRS and it shows me where the airport is ahead as I make an instrument approach. Priceless supplemental information. It is nothing short of awesome. (I have a bit of a vibration problem and I'm working on solving that.) Maybe you'd like a video of an IFR approach?
I love this Hudway Cast HUD, being a former aircraft crew chief in the Airforce, this HUD fascinates me. I use my phone for GPS all the time, mostly listen to the voice because it's hard to see the screen, too far away for my bifocal reading part, and too close for the regular vision...I have the same problem with my dash(speedometer). I've see the ones that reflect your phone, but I never even knew something like this existed, it's quite amazing.
With this device sitting on the dashboard the driver would have to look down to see the information reflected on the glass, thus taking the eyes off the road. The video was shot from a low angle giving the impression that the reflected information is near the driver's line of sight. True HUD reflect the information off the windshield so it appears closer to the driver's line of sight. Why do you think this particular type of HUD (dashboard combiner type) would be useful?
I use navigation a lot on my phone since my Benz don't have navigation this would be perfect this way o never have to look down at my phone thanks for this review.
That device would be great while I’m out driving for Uber Eats during the dinner run witch is at night I wouldn’t have to look down at my phone to find out my next turn because of Uber app doesn’t always keep up with where your at all the time.
I really do miss the car I loved it but I needed something with more utility. Honestly I am patiently waiting for the Tesla truck, it sounds exciting and the future is in electric....hard to admit. I think the Dodge demon showed the final form of the combustion engine, and the model 3 can walk it with no effort.
It comes with the otg(to hard wire Phone) and obd2. I think they stopped shipping it with the cigarette lighter. I'll have to check the c300 dimensions, they have a pdf on the website that works great
Hi Raymond, might be a noob question but do you know what this flashing light is? I’ve never seen it blinking like this until today. I’m assuming car alarm but seriously haven’t ever seen it blink or even be lit til today. Thanks in advance. imgur.com/a/APNgSXZ
I do too ...but the car was depreciating faster then the mods were costing. It was bad, and I don't like going negative. I did enjoy the car while I had it
That is a great question The answer is I just couldn't keep up with the messages there, here, my email, my job , and still maintain a healthy family. I can't afford to be on my phone/computer 24/7. As Dr.Seuss said "You'll miss the best things if you keep your eyes shut" and I really don't want to miss watching my son grow up.

Thank you, Raymond, great headline!
I would use this with torque app for obd gauges
I would use this in my Van
I'll be using this for Google maps to mimic the comfort of a 100 grand car
😂😂🤣🤣😭😭😭😭😭
I'd install this in my 204...would be sweet
How's the truck doing ?? Did you make the correct decision by selling the 204 ?

Lol watching Rhett and Link 😂
Clicking the link - box says it comes with an OTG cable rather than OBD. I have a C class like yours - will it work? Would it fit on the c300 dash?

Does the OBD power the unit? Separate car charger required? Big fan. Love the videos. Miss your c300
@@Mezzamike yes obd2 powers it up and shows MPH and RPM when no phone is paired. The cigarette lighter option just has power.
please find a way to normalize your audio levels throughout. it goes from overly loud to overly quiet constantly

I'll be using it to navigate to Wendy's, because it's way superior to Arby's :)
😂😂😂😭😭😭😭😭
i miss your c class videos

That intro sound scares the shit out of me every time. Please turn it down a notch.
Point taken, gonna fix that
@@RaymondUrias Thanks! Love your videos though!
Great video, been looking for a HUD forever, probably buy this one. Btw what happened to your Instagram?
That is a great question
