People often say Rainbow with Joe Lynn Turner weren't as good as with Dio or Bonnet, but I think that's false. Sure, they got more "pop" and easy-listening, but the quality was still sky high. And man, what a singer he is!

That has to be tech helping on vocals at that age 10 years ago. I heard him much worse before that and on many occasions. I don’t blame him one bit. Steve Walsh of Kansas(one of my two fav bands)used it until retirement. I would rather they use vocal-correct technology than feel the excruciating pain of hearing them struggle and sound bad. Yes, Turner is one of the better older singers but this is getting help. Don’t get angry, this is actually a good thing. It keeps them performing and allowing us to enjoy the shows more. No complaint from me. I support this. Have you listened to Lindsey Buckingham live in old age? Another of my favorites but sounds horrific where technology can only help a bit but can’t do miracles. I can’t go to one of his shows and suffer hearing that. Will just enjoy his solo music at home.
I am pleased to tell you that you are 100%!wrong about that. This was my show that I produced and had videotaped with sound pulled right from the FOH board. All real. All live, and all that good. Joe’s voice was and still is incredible! He maintains his instrument like few others. Full range.
The master….superb vocal, Ritchie should have had this guy back on vocal for the latest reunion instead of Freddie Mercury’s son…this group had more fire and sincerity than rainbow had back in 2016 this version is superb
Real drums, real vocals, no pitch correction ect. Just years of practice something most music today lacks. Not all but most.
Blackmore sure picked up some MONSTER vocalists. Gillan, Coverdale, Dio, Bonnet and turner. Lol, ridiculous. Joe sounds great as always.
