Four World Cup finals and two titles since 1998, France is the strongest football nation over the past 24 years.
From 1982 to 2002 Germany were also four times finalists in the last 20 years of 2002
But sadly they only won once
And despite not winning it in 2006 nor 2022, France is undefeated at World Cup final matches since they won 2 times and draw the other 2 matches only being eliminated by penalties.
Uruguay and Spain are also undefeated at World Cup final matches, but they only played 2 and 1 respectively.
if France 2022 just had one more player on the pitch like kante, pogba, or Benzema, they would have definitely been able to defeat Argentina. Argentina was struggling just against Mbappe and coman

Ronaldo had a convulsive fit hours before the match and was unconscious in hospital. He was given the all clear at the last minute and decided to play. The team were genuinely worried about his health and didn't concentrate on the match... France won.
R9 was unconscious. And when he woke up his body was hurting really bad. Think he was forming from the mouth. The game should of been postponed.

He arrived to the stadium minutes before the kickoff and Nike, sponsor of Brazil and Ronaldo, pressured the Brazilian FA to put Ronaldo in starting 11. And so they did…

@@cddb5408 Hey Wiltord had a great equalizer. You win some and you lose some. France was overall better than Italy in 2006 and had the hardest course to the final but lost on penalties. They deserved that World Cup too. So no reason to complain about Euro 2000

The new players are not comparable with the previous team. You see what I mean.

This was purely a tactical win for France. How could someone think that Brazil lost intentionally to France???! If you wanna know an intentional bad playing, you must be suspicious about the way Germany played South Korea in this year World Cup. Even the two goals came from blunders. It didn't mean the German players wanted to lose. But i guess several players didn't want to win the match.
