- Knowledge, secrets and lore on the Treant from Dungeons and Dragons. Treants are chaotic good creatures which can be used to great effect in your DnD campaigns by the Dungeon Master (dm) because their well-being is tied to the well-being of the land they inhabit.
3rd episode in a series on monster/creature ecology from the table top role playing game (TTRPG) Dungeons and Dragons.
1st episode was on Illithids
2nd episode was on Liches
A diseased Treant's seed was the main adventure hook in Critical Role 's campaign setting Tal'Dorei.
Good video to listen to while trying to sleep, calm voice, monotone.
Inspiration for the channel mainly from AJ Pickett's youtube videos, but MrRhexx and Lorebrary are good inspiration too.
What they don't tell you about Treants. Treants can be found throughout the multiverse and in the Forgotten Realms setting, they can be found in the Faewild amongst nature. Enrich your adventure with knowledge you gain from this animated video. History on the Treant from dungeons and dragons. Treants would not be found in the Nine Hells or anywhere near Asmodeus because of their vulnerability to fire.
If anyone has a specific creature they'd like me to cover I'd love some suggestions.

Yeah I need to get some dragon research going, and Ki-Rin look amazing so I'll look into them as well.

Quick search says treants are 30' tall and 4,500 lb. But Storm Giants are 25' tall and 15,000lb! Thats more than triple. Green wood is heavier than equal volume of animal. 😮 A 6 ft tall human weighs about 200 lb. 4 * 6 is 24 but I'm going to multiply by 5 to give them an advantage. 5 * 200 is 1,000 * 5 is 5,000 5 * taller and 5 * wider. So the giant should be only 5,000 lbs.
Their Charisma score is way below what I would give them based on their size and demeanor. I think they deserve an 18.
You're right, they deserve higher than 12. They command respect from their size alone.
