200% agree. I stopped my son from this level of training due to worry of grinding and burning the wick too early. 10+ is more appropriate for this level.
I disagree. The kid is clearly having fun. If he wasn't having fun, then yes, you'd be correct. However, as long as he's enjoying it, you're fine. And on the days when they're not into it, you let them choose what you do they day. They'll usually choose the things that are most fun and they're best at, but so what. It just becomes a perfect day to further build their strengths.
I wonder what makes kids fall out of the game more? losing or pushing kids to train like this. Personally I have seen more kids drop out of soccer or switch teams because they were losing and felt they were not good enough to play or the team was not good enough for them. I have also seen kids pushed by coaches and watched them radiate with confidence growing more in love with the game.I think it depends on the kid.
If I see again one of my exercises that we use at CGSA back in mid 90's I will be sick to my stomach. Need t0 innovate their exercises from their own creativity and experience. But the boy is so cute :)
@@Junglist-zr4ui when did i say im good at all them. And of course football should be their main sport, but they should also play other sports sometimes to be more athletic.
Can the boy even run with the ball? Should be concentrated on ball familiarity then cognitive skills which pros learn in experience not forced in training
Im a coach for the under 8s at Fulham, this is the first class ticket to fall out of love with the game in the future
Two years down the line and he’s still going strong. I think he’ll be ok

Yes, or it just filters out the top 1% early and sets them up to be pro

You should do a group session, it’ll be more fun for someone as young as him and give him good competition
We run a lot of group sessions every week

U 6 Man City player?? 5 years of age in an academy. Shocking.
Let the kids enjoy the game and play it with their friends first.
That's what kids should be doing instead of playing computer all day
kids should be PLAYING multiple sports, Not TRAINING
@@tdpfyr impossible to do all sports .yes try them see if you're any good at them

There is NO U-6 Man City players on contract so don't lie to the public
Wer do u get u6 players to be so disciplined without any fun activity 😂
He enjoys a lot of it. Most of the stuff I deliver for him is stuff he has asked for
@@jlfootball8679 sure he will make it big then with so much discipline
I hope so. He’s a good kid!
Coach looks like he's wearing construction shoes :(

it's not a training for 6 years old kid, no fun, alone , a copy for adult training no way. Pierre Switzerland
For a player of his level it’s definitely the sort of stuff he enjoys and wants to be learning 😃
This looks miserable for a 26 year old nevermind 6...have some fun for gods sake and get rid of the poxy ladders
Players of his age benefit from working on mobility. Learning how to move his feet in different ways. Might be worth looking into 😃
