Looks like an interesting device maybe due the price tag it could be suitable for gyms or something like that not considering the AI for individuals but for standard users

    Great for older folks.

Hi Ian, really informative review - thanks. I saw a flurry of articles from late 2021 about this device, they're all quite positive and as a runner who suffers from somewhat frequent injuries myself, I'd have thought the demand would be high. Do you know what's happened to the company/product since then?

Have you reviewed the Hypershell. Seems similar to this in a bit more polished and smaller form.

    2 questions:
    1) can it be used for biking?
    2) can it be used to practice certain martial arts routines? (Essentially kicking a dummy)

In my experience I would say probably not in both cases. The pulling motion for walking and running is great, but even with SPD or delta cleats I don't see it helping much on a bike, and potentially could hurt you. Same goes for kicking really. I found mobility to be alright for most exercise movements, but I'm not sure it'd work well for the dynamic movement of kicking. Again, it's likely possible, but I can see it hurting if you hit the end of the range of motion mid-kick!

Would it be usable for after stroke rehabilitation?

Would this be suitable for people less abled, like elderly who’s legs get tired faster?

In one sense I would say definately - I wasn't exaggerating when I said I could hardly walk up the stairs the day I recorded this. Unfortunately, the weight of it and time it takes to put in on might make it somewhat diminishing returns for differently-abled folks, though I'm sure it could find a lot of use in rehab and physiotherapy. I'm not trained in either of those things though so I'd take that with a grain of salt!

I have the challenges associated with multiple sclerosis. My problem is moving my right leg. When standing, it’s hard for me to pick up my foot off the ground I can do it but it’s only about 1 inch. I generally use more of my hip to kind of swing my leg forward, do you think with this limited movement it would be enough to activate the device to propel the leg up and forward?

Hello, good afternoon, I have an incomplete spinal cord injury, an incomplete quadriplegia, my entire right side is very good and my left side is very bad. Do you think this device would help me walk? I currently use a crutch to walk. regarding my injury, what happens to me is that my left psoas is weakened and that is why it is difficult for me to lift my thigh and I think this device could help me..i don,t know)

Highly doubt that it uses AI to improve.

I think most companies just use it as a generic term for "algorithm" nowadays. There's probably no neural network going on in there, you're right.

The backers on kickstarter got robbed. The company hasn't logged in since may 2023 robbed them of money and this guy helped sell them on it.
