I with you gary. Slow speed is very top on my list when I buy an engine. Just passed up a great deal on a atlas geep at the train show today because it had err in it and realy did not want to take a chance untested. It may have been a smooth runner,but who nows. Mth and legacy have always been smooth for me. I do have some mth f3 that were converted to err,but they dont run as slow as yours. Plus I dont like the limited voulme adjustment it has. I live in a apartment and need them to be lower sound wise. Nice engine though and pat is the pittman master.
Does the person that did this work also do TMCC to Legacy upgrades? I know there are at least two other people on RUclips that purport to do the upgrades, but when I reached out to them, I never got a response. Not even a "not accepting new business right now" -- just crickets.
Pat is a mechanical guy. Far as I know he does not upgrade engines to legacy, not many do as it’s a real pita. I listed his email on another comment on this video. You can always reach out to him.

I really liked that Marx engine swap, a tight fit no doubt. those Joyline Shells are a lot smaller than I thought. A masterful restoration.

Pretty sure it has a TAS turbo smoke unit in it augmented by gunrunner’s super chuffer
