I see this Angel as perhaps a former doctor/nurse or some sort of caretaker who through events we don’t see, went from being the top of her class in both model form and care given, to now sojourning into dilapidated and dirty places. Despite her lack of maintenance and upkeep, she still has a pure heart and motive to care for and protect and nurture. Can’t wait for more videos like this

This channel is so interesting. These videos kinda fall in that weird place where its not the same cookie cutter asmr you come to expect. I mean that in so many ways too. There's never your over used triggers like every other channel, nor is there even audio like you'd expect from the asmr genre. Instead you get this almost liminal music and sounds that relax you mentally, physically, and emotionally. Then on top of all of that theres the fact that even for a vr chat video, the quality, tracking, and acting are so unbelievably good that you can't help but feel attached to this world and its characters. What's even more impressive to me is how there's care in even the smaller details that only weirdos like me would pay attention to. For instance; the models. Most models even with full body tracking suits look janky and awkward because typically a model doesn't work well with the human body. Yet somehow your models all work so well that they almost seem like real robotic humans. On top of that the mechanics of the models works well too. It feels like everything would realistically work if re-created in the real world. Hell, even smaller choices that just make you think of things that you may never of thought of otherwise. There was a point where the hand movements were very reminiscent of someone with down syndrome being overly excited, which got me thinking about the possibility of robots/androids having disabilities and mental illnesses. Like would a robot ever be able to realistically have adhd? What about depression? Down syndrome? Autism? If robots can feel feelings and emotions and can experience everything the way we do, then who's to say they couldn't? There's also the fact that theres never talking. Which i love because it opens up a world of interpretations. Like at first i thought "maybe some jackasses abused this bot beyond repair" but the more i looked at comments the more possibilities i saw. Someone mentioned the possibility of a discontinued pleasure model. Which then would give a whole new darker context to why this robot is in such a terrible state, as well as to why it would have horns. It wouldn't be an angel, it'd be a succubus. An abused and damaged succubus who still wants to believe in good. Someone mentioned a possible botched modding, which made me consider that maybe modding these angels is illegal in this world. Someone brought up the possibility of this being the same angel through all of the videos and shorts. Hell, I've even considered that maybe the companies built them to have customizable accessories. Specifically the head pieces. I assume it'd be the accessories attaching to the head band looking part. Like the devil horns or cat ears from the convenience store. So many possibilities, and yet in the end we are only left with our head canons. Which is cool because it makes us think about how this world works and therefore invests us deeper in it. I'll be honest here, this has scratched an itch in my brain for well made stories. And this channel and world is 100% a new hyper fixation for me. But on a more personal level, don't feel pressured to make every video better than the last. If you start viewing this like a job, the more it's gonna feel like one. Just have fun and tell the story you wanna tell, end of the day I'll still be excited to see what that story is. At the moment, i can feel the love, care, and thought put into this. I think the last thing anyone wants is for you to lose that for it, y'know? Anyway, all this to say you did a fucking phenomenal job, and i look forward to what comes next.
When I see her arm/hand movements I don't think of mental disability, it's more like the servos in her wrists just don't work anymore. That's why she's rubbing us with the backs of her hands, she can't lift her palms up.
Was a pleasure reading your thoughts and perspectives. There is a high degree of improv though it also leans into the realm of projection. To some degree in the moment there is a sense of detachment. Watching the footage back in editing and especially after editing I can enjoy it almost as an outsider looking in. It is easy to become overwhelmed or consumed by what the audience may want or how they will perceive things. Though I'm reminded of a phrase that goes similar to this. Glad it feels that way. The avatar has some issues with certain toggles, so I leaned into using those "flaws" as part of the narrative. The world featured a really strong shading slider, so I played with that to further add to the narrative of being damaged or worn out. In the end I'm mostly pleased with how it turned out.
At first I had the convenience store vid in my to watch later but I decided to watch it and honestly at first it was a normal video until I woke up the next day and realized that I slept throughout the video without noticing. It would be nice if there were bloopers or something like that. But in general, the vibe you give to each Angel is majestic.

Feels like this Angel was taken to the slums by someone shady where she went through a botched back-alley mod job, leaving her wrist joints broken, her hip servos slightly seized, and her core exposed. Like, someone had to have given her the devil horns and was also planning to replace the hands, chest plate, rear plate, and hip servos for some nefarious purpose but abandoned the project when they had to make a run for it. Her programming is still that of any other Angel and she wants to help, she's just been damaged.
...Something about these kinds of stories fascinates me. I love the plot when two people, both broken in their own way, find each other and develop a genuine connection to get out of a precarious situation. Plus when the designs are this cool. I love it!
For what I'm assuming is 6-point tracking, the motion capture work in these videos is incredible. I'm consistently amazed by how smooth and seamless it feels. Masterwork puppeteering.
Thank you! Currently using 1 vive 3.0 trackers on each foot, then one on the waist, one on each elbow, and the hands are tracked with the index controllers. In the future would like a usb hub for my motherboard to then utilize knee trackers.
Ngl I was scared that something bad was going to happen. But then the music kicked in and I felt this sense of despair. Not scared anymore, just hoping Angel and her new friend could get away from the noise and get somewhere safe and quiet.
For some they may not make it to the music or the softer parts. The noise can be off putting, yet for those that push through get the reward of the later bliss.
This made me feel very melancholy..I think between the assumed story, musical score and acting, it pulls at some repressed emotions. From a creative standpoint, that's the best you can hope for when creating art, so well done
I wonder how she (and by extension us, the viewers) ended up in this situation? The scene is clearly taking place in a slum-like, or at least run down and crowded environment. I can't imagine that an angel would be cheap to acquire, given of what we have seen about their capabilities so far (their intelligence, having emotions and their ability to learn new things). This must mean that either someone who bought her wasn't really prepared to deal with such a complex being (like some people who buy themselves a pet, just to realize that they can't take care of it), or that they purposely abused her, just to discard her on the streets. Yet, despite that she still seems to approach people on her own, and is even willing to help them. I wonder if she's doing it out of the kindness of her heart, or if she secretly hopes that one of the people she saves will in return save her. Either way, I hope that someone will be able to fix her again, and maybe even give her a loving and caring home that appreciates her. Absolutely lovely video, and sorry for my rambling.
Your perspectives were quite interesting. Her story is rather grim. In the future of such things existing as Angels there will be many who treat them well and others who see them merely as tools. She was purchased for her owner's business. He tasked her with going throughout the area which they inhabit to find potential "clients" for his business. Though her programing is initially to be a caretaker the owner took advantage of that and profits off her endless desire to help and serve people. The area she dwells is on a lower level of a much larger city. The owner tells the Angel that once she has fulfilled certain goals he will reward her with a ticket to the upper levels. It is really doubtful that will be upheld. In this video you see her do what she is both designed and tasked to do. There is a conflict though as the viewer is kind to her and not acting as most do. This is not what she is used to. The last shot leaves things up to interpretation, however else where there will be a darker conclusion as it is with most that she meets.
I see, so we're basically like a moth near a flame (her), and we're at her mercy with us being non the wiser about her goals and motivations in this case. One may still hope that our kindness makes it so that we don't end up somewhere sketchy tough.
The question of getting in and out of the situation, also begs the question of the numerous cuts and if there was only one time/person. Maybe aside of a certain section we see various attempts at interacting with people over the days, maybe there's not even anyone if she mistake a silhouette made of objects for a person. Some shots are also so low it could be stray cats, used to her always wandering about the area...A caretaker disposition would explain interacting with everything like that. "There is a conflict though as the viewer is kind to her and not acting as most do" is such a sad thing to say, but also so common in stories with this archetype. Now, how many would act on it and not just walk away after humoring the machine for the time of a walk...Probably even less would be in position to even make that choice, let alone having the skills to repair her.

If we put aside any jokes and speak seriously, then it all looks intriguing. Ever since the very first short videos, it was interesting to watch her. First there was a new "birth", in the snow, and now we are seeing her "death", or switching off, judging by the last frames. I haven't seen anything like this for a long time that could really interest me, especially among the various ASMRs. I'm not eloquent, but seriously, I feel much more than I can convey in words.
On one hand their is a sense of joy that such emotions and feelings are being felt. On the other hand there is fear of not being able to maintain the same level with each experience. Really thankful to have these moments. 🤍

Especially in performances like these, it is the little unexpected details that make the difference (like the bottle spill another commenter mentionned) and they are often outside of the creator's control just like viewer's headcanons that makes them appreciate the video for reasons often unrelated to your intent. Just go with the flow, you'll be allright.

Part of me was ready for being mugged, but the other part of me felt like she was a gentle soul, and part of me just wanted to fully embrace and protect her. This is beautiful story telling without a single word needing to be said. I get the feeling part of her programming is to comfort those in need, and she felt that kick in while seeing the viewer in rough shape on the streets. This has real blade runner vibes with the music, a surreal situation for both parties. Even if the drive is either coded or primal. Even though this channel deals with similar feelings like others they way it's done and the upfront honesty about it is very refreshing.
This is beautiful, the ambience, the way that it’s only her simple movements communicating, her more broken and incomplete form. The absence of story other than “she kinda just found you on the floor” yet as it goes on for these 28 minutes it feels like it gives hints to a story that is there yet isn’t. It makes this video absolutely beautiful. As I watch this video I seem to just make my own. “Who is she?” “Why is she the way she is?” “What brought her to me in this hypothetical moment?” I answer all these questions for myself as if by creating my own story I’m learning about her, as well as myself. This absence of story or context has made this into a beautifully stunning short tale that I can only understand. Due to me filling the blanks and creating the missing pieces to answer my own questions in a way that satisfies me and allows me to create my own understanding.

Really a very unusual form of an ASMR video, but I mean that in a positive sense. The ambience, the music, the animation and especially the gestures really convey the feeling of identifying with the character. Nevertheless, I would like some subtitles, e.g. in the scene where she is warming her hands, something like that her heating elements in her hands are defective, but she can make us feel warm touches when she warms her hands here. This was so fascinating and chill to watch, felt I went on a journey, trying to understand this broken Angel in what she's doing, while guiding me through narrow old pathways and rooms; showing care and intrigue in her movements/gestures through it all, despite the lack of facial emotion. I still did not understand what it was and where we were, but it looked very beautiful and cool, I would like to say 3 things 1. Watching it while lying down is super unusual and enjoyable. 2. the environment looks like some dark alley in some big city. 3. The suggestion to have a beer with a robot girl is something unbelievable, I can't tell you how happy I was at that moment
While watching this, before I looked into your links and this video's story, I had a head-canon story brewing up where the Angel is a neglected and discarded doll/servant model who lives in hiding. She finds the viewer in a bad state and nurses them back to health. While recovering, they notice the state of disrepair the Angel is in and try to repair her, as if to return the favor. Not the first to think of it, I wager, but I can't help but love stories about artificial beings where they are shown compassion in a world where most would see them as a device to be owned or discarded. The music choice really suits the mood, I very much enjoy it!
Whats fascinating to me is how through no words, a story is told but at the same time, the story could be very different per person. For me it had vibes of 2 damaged people, one synthetic and another organic, finding comfort in each other. But that could be very different for others. And thats just through implications, rather than statements. Subscribing, look flrward to what you do next.

one of the things I felt watching this is that the stops along the way.. the fact that every few moments she needs to stop turn and show the pov the way, encouraging them to follow.. comforting them with little touches, stopping to warm her hands to give them a warm headpat... It made me think whoever she's guiding is soo soo much more broken down and hurt. Maybe that's just me projecting. and then I think "Why?" why stop and help comfort an old hurt soul like me? why go through that extra trouble just to let me feel a warm hand. why struggle to pour me a drink when neither of us can barely walk upright. 16:42 and then after a few times she.. makes a heart with her fingers.. I may know a few guys who do repair and even upgrades on whatever mechanical comes their way... the only payment they want usually is the challenge of a difficult job, as they have enough money already, they love anything to relieve the boredom, and helping an angel would be just the ticket

She would really like something like that if she could overcome her programing she was tasked with. They do have touch sensors and temperature interpretation. However, they can also turn off their ability to feel if needed.

Was a pleasure reading your thoughts and perspectives. There is a high degree of improv though it also leans into the realm of projection. To some degree in the moment there is a sense of detachment. Watching the footage back in editing and especially after editing I can enjoy it almost as an outsider looking in.
It is easy to become overwhelmed or consumed by what the audience may want or how they will perceive things. Though I'm reminded of a phrase that goes similar to this.

Glad it feels that way. The avatar has some issues with certain toggles, so I leaned into using those "flaws" as part of the narrative. The world featured a really strong shading slider, so I played with that to further add to the narrative of being damaged or worn out. In the end I'm mostly pleased with how it turned out.
At first I had the convenience store vid in my to watch later but I decided to watch it and honestly at first it was a normal video until I woke up the next day and realized that I slept throughout the video without noticing. It would be nice if there were bloopers or something like that. But in general, the vibe you give to each Angel is majestic.

Feels like this Angel was taken to the slums by someone shady where she went through a botched back-alley mod job, leaving her wrist joints broken, her hip servos slightly seized, and her core exposed. Like, someone had to have given her the devil horns and was also planning to replace the hands, chest plate, rear plate, and hip servos for some nefarious purpose but abandoned the project when they had to make a run for it. Her programming is still that of any other Angel and she wants to help, she's just been damaged.

For what I'm assuming is 6-point tracking, the motion capture work in these videos is incredible. I'm consistently amazed by how smooth and seamless it feels. Masterwork puppeteering.
Thank you! Currently using 1 vive 3.0 trackers on each foot, then one on the waist, one on each elbow, and the hands are tracked with the index controllers. In the future would like a usb hub for my motherboard to then utilize knee trackers.

I wonder how she (and by extension us, the viewers) ended up in this situation?
The scene is clearly taking place in a slum-like, or at least run down and crowded environment. I can't imagine that an angel would be cheap to acquire, given of what we have seen about their capabilities so far (their intelligence, having emotions and their ability to learn new things).
This must mean that either someone who bought her wasn't really prepared to deal with such a complex being (like some people who buy themselves a pet, just to realize that they can't take care of it), or that they purposely abused her, just to discard her on the streets.
Yet, despite that she still seems to approach people on her own, and is even willing to help them.
I wonder if she's doing it out of the kindness of her heart, or if she secretly hopes that one of the people she saves will in return save her.
Either way, I hope that someone will be able to fix her again, and maybe even give her a loving and caring home that appreciates her.

Your perspectives were quite interesting. Her story is rather grim. In the future of such things existing as Angels there will be many who treat them well and others who see them merely as tools. She was purchased for her owner's business. He tasked her with going throughout the area which they inhabit to find potential "clients" for his business. Though her programing is initially to be a caretaker the owner took advantage of that and profits off her endless desire to help and serve people. The area she dwells is on a lower level of a much larger city. The owner tells the Angel that once she has fulfilled certain goals he will reward her with a ticket to the upper levels. It is really doubtful that will be upheld.
In this video you see her do what she is both designed and tasked to do. There is a conflict though as the viewer is kind to her and not acting as most do. This is not what she is used to. The last shot leaves things up to interpretation, however else where there will be a darker conclusion as it is with most that she meets.
I see, so we're basically like a moth near a flame (her), and we're at her mercy with us being non the wiser about her goals and motivations in this case. One may still hope that our kindness makes it so that we don't end up somewhere sketchy tough.
The question of getting in and out of the situation, also begs the question of the numerous cuts and if there was only one time/person.
Maybe aside of a certain section we see various attempts at interacting with people over the days, maybe there's not even anyone if she mistake a silhouette made of objects for a person. Some shots are also so low it could be stray cats, used to her always wandering about the area...A caretaker disposition would explain interacting with everything like that.

Now, how many would act on it and not just walk away after humoring the machine for the time of a walk...Probably even less would be in position to even make that choice, let alone having the skills to repair her.

If we put aside any jokes and speak seriously, then it all looks intriguing. Ever since the very first short videos, it was interesting to watch her. First there was a new "birth", in the snow, and now we are seeing her "death", or switching off, judging by the last frames. I haven't seen anything like this for a long time that could really interest me, especially among the various ASMRs.

The absence of story other than “she kinda just found you on the floor” yet as it goes on for these 28 minutes it feels like it gives hints to a story that is there yet isn’t. It makes this video absolutely beautiful. As I watch this video I seem to just make my own.
“Who is she?” “Why is she the way she is?” “What brought her to me in this hypothetical moment?”
I answer all these questions for myself as if by creating my own story I’m learning about her, as well as myself.
This absence of story or context has made this into a beautifully stunning short tale that I can only understand. Due to me filling the blanks and creating the missing pieces to answer my own questions in a way that satisfies me and allows me to create my own understanding.

Really a very unusual form of an ASMR video, but I mean that in a positive sense. The ambience, the music, the animation and especially the gestures really convey the feeling of identifying with the character.
Nevertheless, I would like some subtitles, e.g. in the scene where she is warming her hands, something like that her heating elements in her hands are defective, but she can make us feel warm touches when she warms her hands here.
I think that would give the video even more depth and make it an absolute gem.

While watching this, before I looked into your links and this video's story, I had a head-canon story brewing up where the Angel is a neglected and discarded doll/servant model who lives in hiding. She finds the viewer in a bad state and nurses them back to health. While recovering, they notice the state of disrepair the Angel is in and try to repair her, as if to return the favor.
Not the first to think of it, I wager, but I can't help but love stories about artificial beings where they are shown compassion in a world where most would see them as a device to be owned or discarded. The music choice really suits the mood, I very much enjoy it!
