Hi Jacob and Jenn. Your patience in all situations is admirable Jacob. Just a salad for dinner would make me hangry. And I’m sure the 3 hours wait for a car rental won’t be going into your happy times journal. But through it all you had Jenn to keep you company and that would be ok with me. Safe travels to both of you.
Everytime I fly I can't stop thinking about that twilight zone episode with the little monster guy on the wing
Jacob you should have saved your Crocs for a shoe tree! 👟 🌳
I'm a white guy, with olive skin (Mediterranean family) I'm in law enforcement and I'm a military vet but the TSA treats me like my last name is Bin Laden, no exceptions. I've learned I'm always going to secondary inspection and normally the bomb sniffer air blowing machine dealie, every time. It's a bit embarrassing. Great video Jake, enjoy your travels!
The TSA is just for show. When tested, they fail most of the time.
I only fly Southwest. I flew over the holidays, when the whole mishap was happening. They gave me good incentives for changing my flight date to a later date to free up a seat, as well as enough miles for a full round trip flight and then some. I was able to fly for free round trip for Mother’s Day to see my daughter. They also send me drink coupons, and they also gave me $100 credit for a flight because I didn’t get a special rubber duck for an inaugural flight to San Jose, CA. Would any other flight be this good to it’s customer? 🤷♀️👏😅❤
I was a flight attendant and it's amazing what those suitcases go through. So funny you caught that! The lightening is normal. I've been on planes hit by lightning more than I'd can remember. They pilot will do their best to avoid it. Planes are designed to get hit. The lightening will flow off the wings and it's over before you knew it happened.
15:27 It is called a jetway, the bridge from the airport building to the plane.
You two are super fun airport explorers. Thanks for sharing!
I am with you Jen, I get pulled aside and checked every single time I fly, without exception! I was once told that it is because I wear baggy clothes. Next time I wore tighter clothes, made no difference!
I grew up in Denver but moved away 6+ years ago and haven't had a chance to visit since, so I'll be happy to watch ANY videos you make while you're there. That said, I used to volunteer at the Denver Zoo almost 20 years ago, and I know they've had some cool updates since I moved away, so I would LOVE to see you check it out!
Twister while the dial spinner is wearing a Twisted Sister shirt is some next level stuff.
You and Jen are such a cute couple. She's so happy and positive. Love to see your videos. I can travel through hou😊
Hey Jacob, don’t know if anyone had said it yet but those swabs test for different things, a lot of the time it’s explosive residue, gun powder residue and stuff like that. They also test for different chemicals, various other things .
Ok. Thank you for sharing that information. I'm terrified to go on an airplane because of the intense security🙀
@@brendakrieger7000 Honestly I find the level of stuff the TSA does very silly and waste of time. It’s not that big of a deal or very time consuming it just doesn’t do anything to better the security of the airport or travel.
@@bomm68 Ok thank you so much! I've heard that it can be really awful🙀
@@brendakrieger7000 you’re very welcome. Honestly don’t be afraid of the TSA, most airports are super easy to get through with security.
@@bomm68 Great to hear,really appreciate your help😀
Hi Jacob and Jenn. Great video. I absolutely love Colorado but haven’t been in years. I highly recommend The Stanley Hotel and Estes Park.
I would to see a series where Jake goes to different airports and just explore. Hope you and Jenn have fun! 😁😁
*Jacob
I was flying from Dallas (DFW) to Midland (MAF) which is a short flight (300 miles). There was a snow and lightning storm (pretty weird) and the plane was hit by lightning- this sounds amazingly like a hammer hitting a metal trash can. The lights went out (it was a mid-day flight) and about every alarm within earshot of passengers went off for at least 5 minutes. We survived : )
That sounds fun. I flew from DFW to San Angelo a few years ago and hit a nasty storm as we were descending into Angelo. The turbulence was insane, people were lifting out of their seats every now and then. It got so bad we they actually determined it wasn't safe to land and went back to Dallas until the storm cleared
Hey Jacob!! While in Denver, check out Elitches amusement park and Lakeside amusement park. Mother Cabrini Shrine, the Royal Gorge, and Buffalo Bill's grave are some other things to see. Enjoy! Love you guys!
When you arrived I was like where is Jenn, thinking you lost Jenn noooooo jacobbb. Then while you were waiting for your car. I saw her I was oh thank goodnesss.. 😂😂😂 love love you jennn ❤
the wipe is to test to see if you have been handling explosives or flamable liquids.
That was a fun episode, I'm proud of you for riding most of the rides on the mountain. Hopefully you will get on more rides at amusement parks that you can film on. Other than that, GOOD JOB!!
Omg the gargoyle moving scared the crap out of me lol The lightning was cool and terrifying. My fiancee and I just flew Delta and we definitely will be doing South West next time but flying is stressful. I'll take the long road trip anyday. Hope you and Jen have fun!❤
I love 💕 your Twisted Sister t shirt, Jenn, n your mobile suitcase!!! You two work so well together!!
Love this type of video with you two. Jen & Jacob doing planes trains & automobiles
I spent 45 minutes watching you eat a salad on a plane and was still oddly entertained.
The trick is to eat some of the greens first down to about half full, then put the dressing and toppings in, then shake. That way you don’t waste the dressing, that they don’t ever give you enough of.
Your weird I turned it off b4 it started
😂
🤣 are you serious.
I was also entertained. Lol
Wow 😂 watching those guys throwing those suitcases off the plane, no wonder my suitcase is broken after my trip 😂
We love jenn being in videos :)
I'd love to see the Denver Zoo and the Denver science museum. Touring a silver mine is a very Colorado thing to do. Hi Jenn love having you join Jacob in the videos
Noooo
Rock on Jacob! So glad to see you Truley happy!!
There are innumerable stories and accounts about the Denver airport, that go far back to way before it was even built. I've been through it, and I kept an eye out, but I didn't experience anything. I didn't even get the sense of discomfort around the horse statue. Still worth keeping an eye on. Also, i have always referred to the skybridge as the skybridge.
The goat was a pet . The billy goat bar was owned by man who found a stray goat and the goat was his mascot and good luck charm . And he took the goat every where like some people do with there dogs .
Good to see you Jacob, & Jenn! Hope you both enjoy your week.
I absolutely adore you both! I need Jen’s bubbly attitude 💖💖💖
I suggest going to Estes Park and touring the Stanley Hotel (inspiration for The Overlook hotel in The Shining). They also have ghost hunts at night that you can book. Also, Casa Bonita is supposed to re-open this month for the first time under the ownership of the South Park creators (they haven't given a specific day yet though).
Yes!! I've been there! It was amazing
I got fully patted down because I had peanut butter in my backpack...didnt know peanut butter could somehow make something to take over an airplane.
Dertroit to Orlando ..it was horrible . In front of my precious grandchildren ...3 tsa agents surrounded me and checked me over all except strip tease. Darn ..I was leaving the happiest place on Earth and they treated this granny horribly
That gargoyle scared me! Was not expecting it to move at all!!
Jacob, I totally agree with you about tge little packet of pepper and the smell being on the napkin.
Good thing that ya'll weren't at the Pensacola Airport. The lights were out on the runway last night. Many cancelations. 🛬 ✈️💡
Safe travels, you two. ❤️ 🙏❤️
Enjoy Denver. 😉
Yay a Jenpetbagger episode series
I love your pink crocs! Also when you see a lady like Jenn, you just gotta pat her down!
That branding for the airport is fantastic. Blue=blue skies. Circular=movement. The Airplane looks like a star. Whomever designed that is fantastic!
I actually used to cook for the SW crew when they arrived at their hotel rooms. I never met them, since I was in the kitchen. It would have been nice to actually meet them.
The Meow Wolf in Denver, Colorado is a fun thing to do.
Hi Jacob and Jen! Fun video! Would love to see you go to Colorado Springs and either go up Pikes Peak via the Cog Railway, or go to The Garden of the Gods. Have a fun trip!
RIP Pink Crocs. We knew you for such a short time, but your time with us will be memorable.
I think shrooms are legal in Denver.
If casa Bonita is open that would be great to see and meaow wolf revisit too please 😊
Casa Bonita is supposed to reopen this month with new owners and a new head chef.
William and Graham Speakeasy - Really cool vibe!
😮 my fave watching him throw away still perfectly good crocks
Y'all should go to the Reinke Bros. year-round Halloween shop. Come to the springs to see the relatively new Olympic Museum, Manitou Springs, and of course garden of the gods!
If you get your boarding passes digitally and put everything in a carry-on, it can cut like 30mins idling for your bad. Like when I was studying abroad last year getting back into Spain from Nice, my bag could go in the over head and since it was Schengen (basically countries in that agreement don't need to clear customs I didn't need to go through medical screening or baggage claim and it was like a blissful moment vs outbound where I screwed up security hard, nearly left my Passport in Madrid, had to check the bag on the flight, it was raining in Frankfurt and the trains were a mess so I didn't get to go to Rulantica and couldn't get a refund for it)
Enjoyed replay thanks for sharing your channel 😀 👍🏼 😊
You guys are so cute together I love it.
I would love a series where you check out different airports! That would be sweet
I love the videos with u 2 in it. Funny stuff .
My daughter bought me a pair of hey dudes. !!! So comfortable once u break them in
Here a few towns south of Denver about 3 hours away you could come to Pueblo, here you could find a lot of info about the steel city; you can come walk the river walk by the whole train depo. There’s a documentary on RUclips that maybe if you have time to watch you can see that Walt Disney had actually came here as well back in the day & had inspiration for his Disney land while watching/helping his brother build for train tracks. There’s a lot of native history as well, neat shops for Jen and yourself to visit. Antique shops/toy shops like the land of oz, it has some cool old toys and collectibles.:) it’s a small town with some small things to do, it would be neat to have you explore here a bit and see if you found anything interesting to do! If yous get hungry yous can always go down to passkey and get a special!
Glad to see you two flying together. Very interesting facts about Denver airport, I never knew. Suggestion, how about Molly Brown museum. Have fun, enjoy!!!
Jake, one of my all time favorite museums is the Western Museum of Mining and Industry in Colorado Springs. It's about an hour from Denver. They have working machines.
Good morning Jacob, this looks great. Can't wait to watch it. Have a good day
Have fun at family event and look forward to sights of Denver.
31:08 I have flown through thunderstorms before, actually I was on my way to Denver, CO from Louisville, KY back in October 2007. That looks more intense there, but I saw lightening under the plane one time and we were flying over the lightening and storm clouds. I think they reroute around the storms and steer away from them today due to radar.
Relax
Awesome video!
🙂👍
Welcome to Colorado!
I have flown to so many airports for pleasure, work conferences, etc. It is funny how the wrapped napkins so smell of pepper. But I like pepper so no worries. Probably one of the more unique airports is Jackson Hole Airport (JAC). Denver International Airport is interesting as well. I love flying there. It would be cool for you to do a trip filming experiences at different airports.
Drive West on highway 70 to Glenwood Springs, they have a bunch of things to do!! You will love it! Go to Doc Holidays grave, the sky tram etc.
welcome to Denver i hope you are going to visit Casa Bonita. love your vids. Thanks Jacob
Reinke Brothers Costume Shop is a great classic year round Halloween shop with its own haunted house, in downtown Littleton
Jacob, I am 100% with you on the pepper napkin issue. If I try to use one of those napkins to blow my nose, my nostrils are burning for over an hour. I hate those nasty napkins so much that I immediately throw out those napkins and I just bring my own napkins.
Perhaps it's a matter of having an allergy or sensitivity to the pepper..?
@@maryblaufuss7533 I use salt and pepper on my food all the time and it doesn't bother me at all so I don't think it's an allergy. It only stings my nose when I use the napkin as a Kleenex.
Usually the swab is to test for explosives residue.
Airport twister is a dangerous game😅
I flew on a plane in 1980's by day to MA only 2x. Thanks for reeducating me about air ports 2023.
Is it the tarmac? Love seeing you guys together Have fun to wherever!!!!
Welcome back to my Colorfull Colorado!! 👋 Lots of weird stuff here👀👻💀
jacob my dude exposed the the ramp workers lol that man was chucking the luggages 🤣 anyways great video again jacob bless up
You need to check out the mural in the Denver airport
Also I live in Fort Collins and it would be so cool to see you up here.
The shoes look sooo much better!
There is a zoo and aquarium there both fun have fun in Denver
I love this video, now I'm headed over to Jen's channel 😁
my husband got patted down, everything looked thru, sercuity called, etc because he had a candle. It was crazy
Jenn is a riot 😆
Totally dig the matching pink Crocs!!! So sad to see them broken!!!
Also the Forney Transportation Museum is cool.
The swab of Jen's hands was probably testing for explosive residue.
stay around for the grand reopening of Casa Bonita!
Love to see you visit Bishops Castle mr carpet bagger--Its right up your alley and amazing
Welcome to Colorado! You should come up to my little hometown of Black Hawk. It's a historic mining town (although now, it's all casinos) but we still have history here. My boyfriend is gold miner and could probably take you on a tour of one of the mines here
Crocks will (at least they used to) send you new snaps for free.
Sasquatch Outpost in Bailey, CO. You have to investigate it for me, stuck here on the east coast! 😆
Elitch's Amusment Park close by n Casa Bonita Restaurant also close by. mot sure about spelling of A P
Hope you have a good time!
Fly by night, is always a bit magical. You needn't worry about the lightning. It is normal for a plane to fly through the lightning, nothing disturbing is expected to happen (except in that specific episode ot the Twilight Zone, where a spooky creature lands on the wing of an airplane, giving John Lithgow a complete mental breakdown). In fact, you had a little extra luck because you could see some of the red stripes. These are lightning bolts that shoot up, out of the atmosphere.
It is a very long time ago that i flew in a plane over America, and your video brought back some nice memories of that. Really liked it, thank you.
Leadville it’s a great town to check out
Casa Bonita update?
I always get my hair patted down because of my long hair and one time I got wanded because I accidentally wore bedazzled jeans.
Don't you just love the way they throw the luggage around? That's why I always travel with just a carry on.
Jake....I just watched your Valparaiso video. Thank You SO much for that. My hometown too and I'm surprised at the places that are gone. In the 80's I was a single mom and worked at the China House, Don Quiotes, Temptations. I lived on Hickory by the grade school. Now I rent a casita from a Navajo woman in Santa Fe. If you get this way I'll show you around.
I also did the murals in the Old YMCA which I'm just now finding out has changed. Got any info on it? Thanx Beth
The Denver Biscuit Company is a must❤
The Downtown Aquarium in Denver is magnificent!
I did not know that about the Denver airport.
Hi both thanks so much for filming this trip..I have really enjoyed it.. As you may know I am not the best with heights and flying.. However needs must and I get through it.. It is good for me to see you both taking flights. Nice and calm and easy hassle free.. Just a normal everyday thing.. No need to stress.. Have a great time.. Looking forward to seeing some of your trip..All the best to you both. Marie XX
