Talking about threading the needle @1:40 in... Been there MANY times racing on the water.. I always prefer the inside but sometimes you just have to man through it.. My experiences / races were not with these big bad machines... However, when. you are juggling WOT and proximity, it NEVER phased me. STILL, I am so glad to hear the Geico Team has a new sponsor and the same boat.. I sounds like Geico Insurance couldn't cover the exposure in case they get sued.. I think one of their aerobatics airplane went it. Sorry to hear it.. And, Travis Pastrana is on the wheel, or was when I started catching up.. Mr. Throttles is already an all time great... Travis on the wheel.. Looking forward to the future..
Funny that they are showing the boat powered by 2 piston engines at 0:23 and then later at 1:19 powered by 2 jet engines (watch the 2 big exhaust tubes instead of those 4 smallish ones for piston engines). Quality video. lol.
You do realize that this was "Miss Geico Racing" and they've had multiple boats with that name. One of the clips looked like the old Miss Geico using Turbine Marine motors I believe.

Gas turbine engines, and internal combustion are no longer attractive for this century, for all kinds of racing events. it might be very interesting, if the power is from batteries and electric motors.
