Straight up! Most of the money is from their shows and I've read many of many different interviews with DJ's, producers, artists, bands etc. and many of them will say they would like to give their music away for free but their managers/labels/producers would not let them. Most musicians are just happy that you would like them enough to hunt it down; then show a friend who might go to many of their shows and show their friends!
I have listened to this song to often to count and each time is like im hearing it for the first time, the same lonley feeling yet content at the same time and ofc the chills
It makes me smile when I hear or play Calibres Tunes or any other Artist, but more so to the fact, knowing I purchased that particular track & to see people getting off on this is special too! It's called appreciation. I'd probably make more money DJ'ing Than them, sell a track?? - It's the only fair, Right?
mate i get what you are saying but allot of underground artist dont rely on music and gigs to get by they still do normal jobs and produce and dj on the side and we should be glad about that because they dont get bogged down thinking "shit if this doesn't chart im fucked" and they do it purely because they want to and that comes across in the music and in turn makes it worth buying, i honestly think there is not many people ripping off underground artist off because their music is worth buying
time is the inner sense of consciousness that animates the still frames of the spatial world, for time does not exist outside of consciousness. Quantum Mechanics
appearently the energy i sent outwards listeniing to this is quite enough to give something back ,because buying a record is not for my pocket ,i am kinda poor ,i understand fully what you mean and do you understand me too ? that's the main point of this discussion... :) peace...
Radio definitely isn't dead. There are plenty of online dnb radio stations for you to find new tunes on. Bassdrive being one of the best. Check it out.
(Drum & Bass) is a type of electronic music which emerged in the mid 1990s. The genre is characterized by fast breakbeats (typically between 160-180 BPM) with heavy bass and sub-bass lines. Drum and bass began as an offshoot of the United Kingdom rave scene of the very early 1990s. Over the first decade of its existence, the incorporation of elements from various musical genres led to many permutations in its overall style. - Wikipedia
i've got no problem with dling first, but when i download a tune if i like it i'll go buy it on vinyl or buy the digital release. give something back for the amount of effort the artists put into making the tunes. this tune would have taken a longgg long time to make.
Epic tune! Shame about piracy as people are talking about below but it's part of the game now, think producers and artists gotta make their money selling out gigs and mixing.
Hi Great mix! I'm new to electronic music. In genral what would this style be classed as? and what is unique about it.and what is the Bmp at? Please Anyone that knows much about this Genre can you please basicly fill me in????? thank you very much for the awesome song! peace responses
the song is 4:57....why the video is 8:47??......you think that you have much time to listen this but somewhere music stopped..so, also in life you think you have enough time to DO anything but in a moment all is lost!...so the "stroke" of life that we have not accurate..why TIME??????????
My favorite song from Calibre so far is the remix of SpectraSoul's "Away w Me", other than that I can't find any other tracks that I absolutely love; just decent ones. . . can anybody recommend their favorite Calibre track(s) please? It'd be greatly appreciated! I try to listen to many songs from a new artist before I pass a judgement so I don't miss a diamond in the rough
That is a nice argument you two had. I enjoyed it very much. I'd put in my two cents but it would be smacked down and refused immediately. Have a good life you two!
Nope, scientists have successfully teleported particles into the future. Time is *not* non-existent, it's part of the time-space continuum, time is relative to the speed and weight of everything. In a more philosophic way though, time does exist as well, because you have memory and cognizance to plan your future. If you didn't have these, you couldn't reflect on your past mistakes, you couldn't learn how to behave and react to anything - we are beings that learn patterns based on our experiences - the collection of experiences are in our memories, past is extremely important to any animal. About the future, if you wouldn't be able to think about the future, you would not have ambition, plans, complex problem solving skills, etc etc, but pointless purposeless creatures.
There is no "future". It's only concept in your mind, and thoughts don't make it real. Scientists didn't teleport particles into the future, just to another place with it own time. It's always now. Nothing more. There is no such a thing as "tomorrow". We call it in that way, but it doesn't mean that exist. And it's fact, but your ego can't accept this. Why i think that? Because we are - as you said "pointless purposeless creatures". We weren't exist. NOW we do. And we will disappear. Life is pointless, but you can do whatever you want by chance! That's all! We are just animals that realized we can affect the future by what we do today. So enjoy every moment of now. :
Bruv, your officially the soundest bloke on here! God bless you and your mail wagon. Its rare you get a dnb head from the states. Lmao you never know..
Genuinely speaking, I'm wondering how much money EDM producers make from album sales. Would it be accurate to say that a large portion of the money they make is from performing, having their content put onto media (eg ads or movies) and getting paid per viewer on places like this?
I think you don't fully understand how downloading stuff illegaly affects sales. -> it does not affect it for the large proportion. People downloading just download for the heck of it, if they couldn't download it they probably wouldn't buy it either, there is so much music and so little money to spend on it. Only dedicated fans will buy the music to support the artist. I myself download music aswell, not gonna hide that, but I can't be asked to spend a fortune on buying ALL the music out there
My kids be feeding off me all the time. Thirteen years of freeloading... My back!!! Also I was under the impression that most underground artists make their living from doing gigs. Excuse me for my ignorance.
Pro musicians aren't thinking about money when they make music. The money just comes into it because we live in a society where money is exchanged for stuff that has value because it took time and effort to create. As long as we live in a capitalistic society, everyone who makes stuff that other people use or enjoy are entitled to earn money and eat.
without illegal downloads, P2P, and other forms of file sharing most underground artists would never break 10k views on their videos let alone on on their paid services. As much as I love paying for an artist that I support, I have bills to pay as well and can't pay for everything if I have the option to not pay. P2P is a reality that artists need to work around and embrace not reject. Otherwise they would simply never get heard. Radio is dead and P2P is all we have left to find the best tunes.
Can Calibre ever fully know how many people he has touched so profoundly with his deep, haunting music?
We're getting there :)
tg for calibre. his songs have been so soothing for me grieving the loss of my mum. rip mum.
I lost my mother too young as well. Find your happy place, as I too search for mine.
Beautiful words. Sad, but beautiful.
rip
Good energy never ceases to exist ~ It only changes form 🤍🤍

And suddenly tears run down my face :')
To describe the relation to producers like this, can not be measured by words. The power of music!

Doesn't really get any better than this, a true masterclass in Liquid
calibre is truly one of the DnB greats now, hes completely earned it. Just stunned by him everytime...
It makes me smile when I hear or play Calibres Tunes or any other Artist, but more so to the fact, knowing I purchased that particular track & to see people getting off on this is special too! Isn't the quiet end of this upload entirely ironic? Just passing time, no music.. what a coincidence: why time?
Calibres songs make me wana build a cabin in the mountains and live of the land, hes to good!!
This track is infinity

Dear god, this tune is sick.
time is the inner sense of consciousness that animates the still frames of the spatial world, for time does not exist outside of consciousness. Quantum Mechanics
I mean, maybe... or perhaps you're just making stuff up to try and sound profound because this music is deep. ;)
No, time is a construct of consciousness. A star does not perceive time the same as we do, nor does an insect.
Time is what we experience as the 4th dimension
i bought this track..... its just as nice as my downloaded version
Calibre smashes it each and every
appearently the energy i sent outwards listeniing to this is quite enough to give something back ,because buying a record is not for my pocket ,i am kinda poor ,i understand fully what you mean and do you understand me too ? that's the main point of this discussion... :) peace...
I most certainly will, I'm always looking for new sources of music. Thanks!
Awesomeness! Works great for doing artwork and just for relaxing.

now this is fucking music.. atmospheric, with substance, unlike 99% of music out there nowadays... commercial, plastic garbage.
Epic tune! Shame about piracy as people are talking about below but it's part of the game now, think producers and artists gotta make their money selling out gigs and mixing.
Never gets old...

Another level this tune 👌
something so mysterious about the loop..what is time... the present ..past ..future .. can I go back?
Time doesnt exist. NOW is only exist. Past and Future are only in your head, its imagination.

Bruv, your officially the soundest bloke on here! God bless you and your mail wagon. Its rare you get a dnb head from the states. Lmao you never know..
It's sad that that statement is probably as true today as the time you wrote this comment, dnb still hasn't really had it's day yet

Time is fleeting. 💃💃✌️
Funny how people interpret the freedom of speech to a right to insult. Guess we can only count on time to possibly ever change this.

Your gonna have a fun few weeks
If you can deal wit bad quality, enjoy not fully enjoying sound
