- Celebrating the release of his debut solo album 'Radiate', come and join Fred V with UKF On Air for an exclusive sunset rooftop stream filmed in his hometown of Exeter. Expect a full album showcase plus heaps of fresh drum & bass selections across the full 80-minute set.
Not only an absolutely unreal producer and DJ, one of the nicest guys in the uk dnb scene, met him a number of times and he’s always got time to chat and rave with fans!

@@lastdayz7896 the two of them are no longer a group sadly. They parted ways, not because of any argument but because they simply wanted to focus on their solo projects. I think the fact that Fred uses tracks that they both made in this mix, along with a track just from Grafix, is good evidence there are no hard feelings between them.
@@Jazzmaster1992 yeah its what makes me not feel too bitter about the split. Most splits come from something malicious or an argument, this one i can tell was simply just creative differences and them wanting to do solo stuff more. Still love both of their solo stuff and i think they are going far.

Impossible not to love Fred’s music, something about the vibe it creates I just can’t resist! Radiate is a cracking album and absolutely the best album I’ve brought for a few years. Great to hear the live vocals as well!

Amazing combination of orchestral, deep, liquid, vocal dnb.
It’s also awesome to see an artist who isn’t just another “im too cool to be here” kinda guy haha
@Clumsea like the Dimension/ Culture Shock gang I suppose. People like Keeno and Fred V sing along, get hyped and look like they're having a great time. I find it really uplifting and think it adds to the set, especially when you see them live.

I listen drum and bass for 8 years and it's clearly the best set I've ever heard. Each time I launch it, it's a real pleasure.
I only started to listen to DnB through Forza 4, but Holy shit it's fast become my favourite music genre by far. Fred V is just incredible and his music is just the best, this set is constantly on repeat as well all his other music.
I am now listening to this on repeat as I blast through 2 months of college work in 24 hours, thank god for this set otherwise I would definently be insane by now.
I also like forza and DnB
as did i, and it only makes sense. whoever chooses the music for the radios in forza does a ridiculously good job, i love dnb and every hospital radio in the new forzas are always amazing
I went to uni in Exeter, always felt like a bit of an outsider being into dnb as the scene wasn't really there, not among the students at least.
There's a club called Move (formerly The Cellar Door) just below where this is shot, where I saw caught some of the most incredible vibes with the locals. Saw Fred V there, and also met him in the smoking area at another gig. Super nice guy. He dropped Major Happy with Grafix, and I got chatting to him afterwards about how they seemed to have such a great time dropping that track every time I'd seen them. Dude just genuinely loves good vibes.
Didn't really enjoy my time in Exeter too much, but man these shots make me nostalgic.

I've listened to this set easily 20 times. The absolutely incredible performance by Lottie Jones at the start has me playing the set from the beginning every time. In fact, I don't think I've ever listened to the end of this set.
I don't know if there is a studio recorded version of Atmosphere, but if there is, it needs to be replaced by the version in this video.

I love this, Fred V is amazing! And the live performance of "Atmosphere" (the very first song in the set) is even better than on the album, Lottie Jones sings is it so well, and I love hearing her voice like this. On the album her voice feels more "digitalized", and not as clear.

What transcended was that you both looked slightly uncomfortable but in a totally cool way. I saw two people enjoying their passion and that is what life is all about. Living the dream. The vocals were amazing. It sounded like there was a filter on the vocals that could be toned down slightly because the vocal artist is amazing. Keep up the amazing work x

I can only assume Fred is shagging her because he really shouldn’t be letting her sing live over his sets - his tunes, fair enough because he can do loads of takes and auto tune, but live, no way.
