Guys, I can promise you that if you don't show every single little detail in the making of this awesome studio, I will fly over there and slap you over the head myself! 😄
Very cool guys! We just did this exact same thing in an old print warehouse in Texas during the pandemic. Dry Fall paint for the win! Wish we would've made a video about it. But we just relived the process through your video. Good luck with build and can't wait to see the journey!
Excellent! Sub'd and I look forward to the next chapter. Heads-up: dust management in big spaces like that can be tricky, so make sure extraction and sealing is done well, otherwise you will be sweeping and dusting ALL THE TIME.
Thanks for the comment! A handful of things. That I think help answer both questions - A big reason is now we actually own the space instead of leasing a space. - The second is having a huge garage door that we can pull our grip trailer and grip truck in. - Plus having a garage door allows us to pull in vehicles or machines to film. - A space this big allows us to create bigger sets and act more as a soundstage where we create the spaces we want to film rather than trying to find them. - Then lastly, our team is growing and we are kind of running out of space at our old location.
That is not much ceiling insulation. That is going to be a serious eye opener in the summer. There's a reason they put all the ceiling insulation and the drop ceiling in.
We actually purchased the building at the end of June and immediately took out the drop ceiling tile and had a 2in SPF roof system installed (on top of the roof). Plus we installed a new HVAC system so even with having more air volume to heat and cool it's actually been cheaper than the previous owners bills since their drop ceiling had air leaks everywhere.

If you don’t mind us asking, how much did that building cost you? I would imagine you got a decent deal with the problems you showed.
Looks super promising! Looking forward to seeing the progress of this space!
CONGRATSSSS!!
Am I going crazy, or did I not see newer episodes of updates on this renovation? Were the videos removed?
Hey are you guys in Nebraska? Or where are you guys again?
North Dakota
Hell ya
Where is this at?
Dope. What inspired you all to purchase a new space? What does this space help you accomplish?
Thanks for the comment!

So. Effing. Jelly.
in my country we call a wearehouse to store stuff like that as a "galpon" and i see it uglier XD

@@threefoldtv Fair enough. The space is going to be amazing for sure.
I love watching your videos but I can usually only watch 1 or 2 before the shakiness makes me motion sick :(
Too much hand-held.
