Nothing beats Hans Zimmer’s TDK trilogy soundtrack. It is as timeless as LOTR legendary soundtrack by Howard Shore. There is so much melancholy and pain and darkness behind these notes and interconnected rhythms. So much injustice of a cruel world, and evil. And yet among all that darkness there is hope, a faint light that lives in spite of great suffering and loss. This is more than just a soundtrack to me. It’s a reflection of the world we live in.
