I Loved this music for evening gown competition, aspecially the second one was so suited for the culture of the south and also a bit of "eyes wide shut" theme... i want more of these cultural significants like the past. Miss Universe 2000 was the best
For those wondering.why Camila performed here's why. They were going to start broadcasting miss usa in Spanish permanently on Univision and miss universe in the USA which had only been done outside the US with the exception of miss universe when under Co ownership by NBC telemundo. Also given that the US is one fifth Hispanic and Spanish is the second most spoken language along with Hispanics being the second most prominent ethnicity of contestants. I.e. The winner this night Nevada is Mexican american and beauty pageants being immensely popular in Latin America it's pretty much common sense and good business and would drastically increase its popularity. Trump just had to fuck shit up though. BTW this evening gown was my favorite so far since 2010. It gave it back that classic feel so I didn't really Care much for the language of the music.
I had the same question but I realized that in Miss USA many girls from Hispanic backgrounds participate and also USA has around 51 million hispanics, which heavily affect their economy. SO why not have hispanics perform in a Miss USA competition if they are part of it?
