      Being able to solve the problems quickly mentally is a great position to be in :) but if you're not feeling confident, try the following, and we assure you you'll be ready to ace the assessment....
      - Try some practice questions: payhip.com/b/rOXRU
      - And then attempt an actual test to get a sense of the testing conditions and see how you do: ruclips.net/video/0E8ucWxVqVE/видео.html
      - Repeat until confident - practice makes perfect! :)

    I have given 6 mins to solve these problems. How ridiculous and nothing to do with the job.

    • @abilityassessments
      @abilityassessments  9 месяцев назад +5

      Yes, they give only six minutes to solve as many problems as possible. Accuracy and speed are both important. The purpose of these kind of tests is that they indicate a candidates problem solving ability and decision making approach to every day tasks based on logic.

    For the third technique, I find going forward much easier, then backwards, so i do: 1. left bottom corner, 2. left upper corner, 3. middle upper column, 4. right upper corner, 5. middle bottom column, 6. right bottom corner. Maybe someones feels the same way I do.

    • @abilityassessments
      @abilityassessments  5 месяцев назад +1

      Since these tests are adaptive (they get progressively harder as you answer correctly) - it is a good indication that you reached the hardest level (there aren’t any more difficult) so as long as you stayed at that level and continued answering correctly you can assume that you’ve passed this portion of the assessment. Good luck - let us know how you did once you get your results

    Hi i still dont get how you are arriving at the bottom shapes - they are just not correlating. for example at for the last one 3241 at 30:25 how is the triangle at position 3 when it is in position number 1at the bottom..

    • @abilityassessments
      @abilityassessments  3 месяца назад

      Hi - The bottom three operations are solved from the bottom up using the ‘reverse’ technique. Have a look at this short video which explains how to do this: ruclips.net/video/aIQcwFhKVXw/видео.htmlsi=oZPWXOFGLwB0lW8a
      If it is still not clear let us know and we’ll make a more detailed video explaining the ‘reverse’ technique

    • @SnKnS
      @SnKnS Год назад +2

      Basically for back tracking, each series indicate the position of the shape at the corresponding place. Think about ranking.
      For instance, at 23:46, on the left series :
      - Cross will be 2nd
      - Triangle will be 3rd
      - Circle will be 4th
      - Square will be 1st
      What gives us : Square, Cross, Triangle, Circle.
