Hard water scale can buildup on the plastic window on the door creating a poor leaky seal. First check for this and clean the “glass” esp. the underside where it meets the door. Then follow this video. Put a towel under front of the machine, and take a strip of paper towel and push it into the crack between the door panel and the lower panel. Run a load. If the paper towel is wet the door is leaking. If the towel is wet and paper towel dry, look under the machine for leaks.😊
Thanks for the advice. I tried your paper towel trick and the paper towel was dry. any other advice you could offer? I've read that it could be the pump, but I'm not exactly sure at what I'm doing
@@cacolber1989 you’ll have to remove the lower front panel on the machine. With a flashlight look where water is dripping. In front of machine or in back of machine. There is a trap for stuff that has slipped through the tub near the front which you can open and clean out.The water pump is high up in the back of the machine to access this you have to remove the top. There a videos on how to do this. My leak was from the flat band slipping on the big rubber tub ring. There are two rings holding this big gasket in place. The forward one is a wire held on with a spring, the back ring is a flat band that requires a screw driver to remove. In my case the band had slipped off on one side causing the leak. The leak may be in the gasket, which you have to remove and inspect, or it could be from a clogged filter which is easy to remove, clean and replace. Access to this filter only requires removing the lower front panel.
