No disrespect to the Queen Mother and I love everything about this … but they keep talking about how devoted Billy was and how everyone needs a Billy and how the Queen Mother “Didn’t care” and are praising her… Billy had to hide who he was his entire life and faithfully served a woman who could have privately shaped AND publicly changed the course of his life and multiple others. It’s so odd to me that we ignore that but celebrate her private “it’s ok innit” and then ignore how Elizabeth did the same.
