For those of us that only plan to travel a few times a year and tend to do month+ stays in Airbnbs instead of staying at a place for a week/weekend in hotels. Keep your credit utilization low (under or at 3%) and you’ll see your score go up high after a short time, about a year or so
I used my Hilton weekend free night at Conrad Maldives worth $1410. I saved a total of $7400 at Conrad Maldives. Breakfast is $100 per person per day. Best use of my points ever!
$100 per person per day just for breakfast?!?! What are they serving? We have a breakfast brunch buffet here that serves chilled crab claws and a bunch of other hooty tooty items but I think it's still only $35-$40 per person. And once or twice a year there's the all you can eat whole steamed lobster even and that is maybe $60 per person.
Maldives is a tourist trap. They know you have to eat and they’re gonna rip you off. It’s beautiful but this and a few other things rub me the wrong way about it. I’d choose Bora Bora. Similar but not quite as bad.

Solid setup. Another argument for CSP is that it's a low cost option for primary CDW (car rentals) and still gives you transfer partners (advantageous Hyatt transfers!).
How does he only have 200k it should be 2M... This was so helpful for me when he was at 25k.... at this point its almost to exhausting to track all this... but I've sent my mom a few places first class with points. This guy is great.

We stayed at the Hilton on the Ocean, almost stayed at Club Wyndham next door. Nice beach boardwalk. Food options are a little too BBQ / Fast Food for my taste, but there's good seafood a couple miles south, and a nice Turkish restaurant 5 minutes north.

Rolling with the Vanilla Platinum & Delta Sky Gold. Big fan of the AMEX products since 95. Upgraded from AMEX Gold to Plat in March. If I watched your vids prior to I would have kept both as I left 50K MR points on the table 🙄. Love the PLAT tho. I keep a spreadsheet and I'm $1,135 in the plus on taking advantage of the many offers included the additional offers on July 1st. The math includes the upgrade pro-rated AF & adding my wife as an additional PLAT card holder on the account.

My best friend will be moving to Oahu next month so planning to use those 100k points to book some flights 😊. Also use my Chase Freedom a lot on dining but was debating to open the Amex Gold because I buy a lot of take out! And spend a lot on gas.
My set up is sofi for investing and 2%, wf active cash card for a flat 2% on anything and then my daily driver the freedom flex. Thinking about getting the unlimited but idk if I can hit the 12k on both of them. Since it’s my first year having that card
I have both P and G amex and the metal cards are destroying my wallet....I rarely dont bring them and if I do I end up using a card holder...just annoying to have my wallet and a separate card holder for the metal cards
I feel bad for people who have very expensive wallets for this reason; I guess you can always keep the metal cards in specific spots? I still like them better than the old school "lifted" text though!
Another excellent video! Great work! By the way, I noticed you didn't mention any of the Chase UR cards. Do you still have either Sapphire card? With a Sapphire card, the Freedom Unlimited seems like a very good card to carry for everyday spend and restaurants.
I downgraded them to Freedoms for now. Mandy still has a CSR as a backup dining card + car rental for less hassle CDW. The benefit of Chase is that you can easily downgrade and sock drawer if needed :)

Ah yes CENTURIAN Club. Last week SFO........thirty minute wait for people to leave and make room. Forget it. SEA.....45 minute wait. Couldn’t get it both times. As I’m standing in line outside the clubs waiting for the “concierge” to tell me they have limited capacity, I saw several families coming out with lots of kids. They were the ones who took up all the space. Delta lounges are much better and you get right in.
LAS had a 10 minute wait but ALL flights were delayed due to high winds that day -- never seen so many people leave a lounge at closing and unsure where to go afterwards lol.

RUclips Shorts really changed the dynamics since the TikTok crowd (and younger audiences in general) are more willing to like / subscribe. TONS of simple food channels with 1-2 million subs off of Shorts :)
Hyatt Regency we used a few certificates (so 1 + 1) but they merged it at check-in. Hilton was a multi-night booking. Usually hop around for Vegas or if we want to explore different parts of the city though. Also, I have an excuse of trying to review more properties for people :)

They were the ones who took up all the space. Delta lounges are much better and you get right in.
LAS had a 10 minute wait but ALL flights were delayed due to high winds that day -- never seen so many people leave a lounge at closing and unsure where to go afterwards lol.

@@harveydanger398 True, and first year's annual fee is waived. However, I only fly United if I am heading to Taiwan so unless Taiwan lifts the restrictions, I don't think I will get the card as of now
Yes, and downgrade path as well in Year 2. Should be a keeper for most flyers though.

RUclips Shorts really changed the dynamics since the TikTok crowd (and younger audiences in general) are more willing to like / subscribe. TONS of simple food channels with 1-2 million subs off of Shorts :)

Do you change hotels when staying for more nights? i.e., when you have 1 night free cert for hyatt, hilton, and marriott.
Hyatt Regency we used a few certificates (so 1 + 1) but they merged it at check-in. Hilton was a multi-night booking.
Usually hop around for Vegas or if we want to explore different parts of the city though.
Also, I have an excuse of trying to review more properties for people :)
@@AskSebby make sense to hop around and review other properties but to stay with the family and hop around, that's a hassle, do you recommend transferring points to a hotel partner for longer period of stays? Also, when you book your LA flight, did you book it with Hilton cc, so it triggered the aspire travel credit?
