    I’m been getting more into fragrances and your video popped up in my recommended a few weeks ago. Your video and channel got me thinking way more niche than I had been exposed to. Got samplers from DS & Durga and I love the house now!! Keep more videos coming. You are also encouraging me to embrace ALPHA MALE scents lol.

    How about cowboy fragrances on a cowboy budget? These colognes are for white collar budgets, not blue collar budgets.

      Stetson original and Stetson black you can usually find for around 20 dollars and. They are both great

      @@AlexMigI am about to blow your mind. Coty, which crated ad owns Stetson, is by far the biggest fragrance company in the world. Not only do they make their own fragrances, but they make a majoruty of the fragrances on the market. They have deals with like 100 or more companies to make their fragrances. For example, they make all the Nautica fragrances, Calvin Klein, Adidas, Burberry, Hugo Boss, Davidoff etc. What companies do is pay Coty to create an make fragrances, because t is cheaper to have them do it than to do it themselves. Coty has been a huge operation for decades, so they already have everything needed to create an make fragrances. That is why companies pay them to do it, instead of buying their own expensive equipment. So cologne snobs make fun of Coty fragrances, not knowing that Coty actually makes a large percentage of the expensive designer fragrances. The one that always cracks me up is when they say Coty ripped off a fragrance they actually created. The best example is Cool Water, because people say Coty copied it to make Aspen. In reality Coty created Cool Water, and makes Cool Water. Coty has a deal with Davidoff, which is the company that owns Cool Water, to crate and make their fragrances. So yes, Cool Water and Aspen are similar, but it is because the same company created and manufactures both fragrances. You can literally go to the fragrance aisle, and have a hard time finding a bottle Coty does not make. From the cheapest to the most expensive.

    Ombre Leather and Santal 33 give me cowboy vibes

    • @patchoulipapi
      @patchoulipapi  8 месяцев назад +1

      Ombré Leather Parfum is my favorite from that line. It definitely would have made the list but I don’t have a bottle unfortunately. Same with Santal 33… I was fighting between that one and Cuir 28 and ultimately forgot to include a Le Labo haha. The original Santal 26 candle was inspired by “the rugged Marlbolo man”… which is now making me want to add Celine Nightclubbing to the list…

    I’m a big vintage lover in general and one of the first I think of is Stetson original. The current formula is fine but the vintage is cheap and readily available. Oldschool amber fougeres just scream cowboy to me for some reason, Pierre Cardin pour Monsieur, PS fine cologne. Those powdery ambery fougere compositions give a classic cowboy feel to me.

      I meant to mention Stetson in the video! I enjoy that one. I used to work at a western store and we had those.

    I know you're a Le Labo lover... what about Patchouli 24? Campfire, smoked meats, and smores... perfect for a cowboy.

    • @patchoulipapi
      @patchoulipapi  8 месяцев назад

      I was too torn between choosing Patchouli 24 and Cuir 28 that I completely forgot to include a Le Labo…but P24 would definitely make the list. Santal 33 was inspired by the “Marlboro man” so I’d put that one under the rugged category.

    Solid vid man. Watched with my western hat on 😉
    I loved Polo Green in the eighties when my uncle would wear it with his Resistol cowboy hat on. I’ve found Roja’s Apex to be incredible! The edp.
    I’m super intrigued to smell the new Stetson legend. Have you tried that?
    Thanks for the vid. Subbed.

    Nice video and great category to consider!
    Nasomatto Black Afgano Extrait De Parfum I thought could be a banger for the cowboy category. Extremely masculine, earthly, dark, and 10 plus hours. Also, Pardon and Duro from the same line can easily achieve cowboy status! Hope you can get your nose on these. If you haven't already 😉 you won't be disappointed. Sub 👌

    You speak in fragments for the most part which makes it unsatisfying to follow your train of thought. You could try a new recording method different from one long take. With respect, I hope you continue enjoying sharing your fragrance passion with the world
