I’m starting the IB in about a week and a half and your videos have been really helpful! Would you suggest that I start studying from day 1 and if so what should I be doing in those revision sessions (e.g. reviewing, getting ahead, etc.)?

Hey Joaquin, I got my results quite a while ago, for my finals may 2023 exam, and… yeah I scored an 18/45, total abomination, I could say that most of fault is the schools, because they helped poorly among the classes needs, 6/10 students in my class failed including me, what mind boggles me is that the school offered to help the students cheat, and everyone cheated except for me, which is why I got the lowest. For the retake, the maximum amount of points I can get is 44/45 (because i don’t think there’s a point in redoing Italian AB initio [6/7]) I really want to get into these high level universities so I am hiring some tutors and have a strategic plan, however something questions me about research and summer programs, do IVY league universities prefer students who do extensive research programs over the summer? Anyways, if I ever reach the level required to get into one of these uni’s I would be happy to share my story with you. You are very innovating and I appreciate your content, peace🙌

Wow, I'm sorry to hear that happened to you. It really depends on what you mean by 'research'. Remeber that there is no one way to get into ivy-league universities as they use hollistic measures. It depends on your desired major (e.g. pre-med people would benefit from research). Also remember that your EE serves as a good basis for 'research experience' that you could send to the university. The rocket propulsion research I did for my EE was all the research experience I had and it served to showcase my technical skills (going into the engineering program). Keep me updated and let me know if you have any Qs!

Hi Joaquin! I am super interested in educational technology and I know that was your "spike" or your passion that you focused on to get into your top school. I was wondering what specific extracurricular activities were you apart of that related to that field and created your narrative for colleges. Thanks.

Great Q! I will be making a video in the future addressing this in depth. The most important includes my Kickstarter Project I created when I was 14/15, WSC Videos, Tabula and a few other business meshing technology with education

When you say "study 4 hours per day if possible," do you mean including school hours or do you mean outside of school hours?

outside, most ppls school alone is 7-8 hours

What the study shows is that the human brain can only remain in a state of productive flow for upto 4 hours. After that you start to chip away from mental focus progress you could be making in future sessions (likely tomorrow). Hence, if you are spending school time passively learning (which is how most people spend their days anyway) then yes, you have the capacity to reach states of flow for 4 hours per day after school. You also want to make sure that school doesn't 'burn you out' so I suggest taking a water/stretch/walk break every 30 mins to maintain that peak mental clarity
