    This is (as many of your previous lessons) a real eye-opener. Your playing of what you are just talking about makes complex theory ( - and what I consider much more important: how the feeling of music changes) immediately audible. Thank you so much for your work. You are an exceptionally gifted teacher 🙏🏻 👏👏👏👏👏

    Jason, that was a superb explanation, and demonstration, of these concepts. I really enjoy hearing your thought process of how everything interlocks together, makes perfect sense!

    Jason ty so much so much great information and I really like the way you presented diffrent ways to think about different concepts to really understand how music and emotion work together . This is a great start for composers, song writers . To really understand how structure begins.

    There was a translation error in the history of music science. From one of the European music languages (German/French/Italian) into the English language. Parallel Scale originally meant, when C-Major and a-minor go up and down in diatonic thirds - moving parallel.
    Like this: a/C, b/D, c/E, d/F, e/G, f/A, g/B, a/C

    Is it possible to use secondary dominant when you are playing in minor ( parallel or relative)?
    Borrowed chords can act as secondary dominants?

    • @nathanielschool
      @nathanielschool  Год назад

      Of course! Secondary dominants are just 5th chords of the target. We even have secondary diminished chords which serve the same function

      Hi Klement. Thanks for your interest in learning music with me. I think the best option for you to learn would be to look at the "Everything for Life" bundle on our website: www.nathanielschool.com/video-courses
      This will cover the basics of Piano as well as Ear Training & Music Theory. In addition to this, it's a lifetime package, so the lessons will progress to the intermediate levels and content will be updated on the portal regularly. To supplement your learning, you will also get 5-6 of my books which are also updated regularly. These books will cover notes, explanations & assignments for weekly practice.
      Looking forward to your participation. Thank you and have a nice day.
