He explained to us why the funny movie, featuring Kevin Hart, was shelved for 10 years - and why the movie industry generates more income than the music industry.
Transcending from the topic of film to music, Cube tells us that the NWA movie has gotten it's start, and that Dr. Dre is on board as a producer, and all rights were cleared from Eazy E's estate.
Cube also tells us that he is working on his next album, Everythang's Corrupt, and reveals his personal list of the greatest...

***** Rakim and Chuck D are both rap Gods that I got the up most respect for. I was going by my list of and I did buy 1 public enemy album when i got into to rap in the early 90's but I wasn't as into them as I was the other artist on my list. I'd feel fake putting them on my top 10 when I didn't listen to them everyday and buy every album of theres that came out like I did with Cube, Dogg Pound, Eminem, Kurupt, Snoop, 2pac, etc.
If some one put Chuck D or Rakim in there top 10 I's respect that and could not argue about it. Both of those guys are 500 times better then a lil wayne, Drake, or flacka flame.

I'm 41 years of age and I've been listening to Hip Hop since it began in the late 70s. I've heard a lot of good rappers but I don't place all rappers in the same category. I'm not talking about style and I'm not even talking about genre. I'm talking about type. In my research, I've discovered that there are three types of rappers (Lyricists, Poets and for lack of a better word Flowists) Lyricists are the wordsmiths who you can tell are highly literate. Most of them speak to your intellect. Their raps are designed to make you focus on their words often to the detriment of their beats and instrumental. Next there are the Poets. Poets are abstract. They speak to your heart and make you feel their words or they'll rap in a way that make you have to think twice about what you think you're hearing by expressing their points with clever arrangements of words, sentences and phrases. Then there are the Flowists. They are expert at blending with beats and instrumentals. They rap like they're surfing on the beat. They usually have really good cadences that sound so good you may not care about what they're saying. I'm going to list the top ten Lyricists and then the top five Poets and Flowists. I'm interested in other people's opinion on my take.

The thing Sway is missing about Cube is that unlike most other rappers, Cube wrote and produced his own movies. So he could spin the character the way he wants- knowing that it can relate to consumers and present his persona as whatever character. All of the characters he plays has that Cube edge, so it's believable. Pac was kind of like that too, and would have been bigger if he was still alive, and if he wrote his own movies.
