It would be more accurate to say that the being was anchored to Sonic’s world by a physical form (Sonic EXE). And once that physical body was destroyed, well, I guess the connection was severed (for now) and it logged out. It’s still chilling in the Void, just fine. It just needs to wait for the internet connection to be stronger.
Gotta admit, Sonic.exe is only truly powerful in his realm, when he went out of it, Sonic was able to finally “kill” him. As for that Megalovania music. It’s a remix called Confronting Yourself that was made for a Sonic.exe + Undertale au.
@@SonikkuZ Honestly, another reason is that we have only ever seen him use the Emerald's positive energy (for Super Sonic). We have never seen him use the negative energy. As far as I know, we have only seen Shadow do it. Have you played Shadow the Hedgehog? You can use Dark Shadow in that game.
They were Galaxies. And if they were universes, they were tiny enough to fit into Sonic's universe. But I am sure they are Galaxies, because the intro showed us that Universes look like marbles(when EXE created the universe in the Void.)
