She won't replace Lucio even with more speed on the ring. Her speed is very temporary and stationary. Where as lucios speed is constant and can be used on the go. They both have their uses and spots in the game 😊
I would say the thing that set apart Juno and Lucio is their ult tbh. They are good in different situations. Beat is an amazing defensive ult. Whereas Orbital Ray is an amazing offensive ult. Juno trades off the reliability of a defensive ult for more healing, and speed which is less effective and has longer downtime. And she is also very divable unlike Lucio. Tournament teams would run the Lucio over Juno just for beat alone. Beat allows a second chance to win a fight whereas Orbital Ray secures a fight win.

I think she is balanced overall, the gunplay feels tight and snappy. Very satisfying. Once people learn her movement patterns, she will be shot down more easily, the community needs to learn her character silhouette and her movement/abilities before they can actually start destroying her.
overall she's the only balanced character in overwatch right now, maybe a slight buff to her healing, not a massive one like add another 5-10 hp into her burst heals

Yea I don't get it honestly. Bap is super strong in terms of damage AND has sustain along with some movement. Meanwhile Juno just has movement. Which isn't even as good as Lucio movement. They need to buff her damage output.

Hot take, I think her kit embodies what supports should be as a baseline. Low burst kill potential but good steady supplementary damage in fights, no invulns to deny kills but great mobility options to escape, and a non intrusive team utility skill that teammates have a choice of when to take(unlike grip) Instead of being glorified DPSes that have the advantage in 1v1 duels like Bap, she feels like what you’d expect a support to be.

I was playing her today and I found that using the orbital torpedos when an enemy is really low almost always got me a kill. When I would get into 1v1s I would shoot them until they were low and then torpedo and it was an instant kill sometimes I got multiple if another enemy was low around the area
I really hope they don’t buff her. I think her mobility alone makes her a really tricky target, and as long as you’re hitting your shots you’re doing decent damage. You can even combo with the homing pulse shots

If she could crit her damage would be way too high. If you connect all your burst on a 250HP target, you kill them in 3 bursts. Now imagine that with crit damage. And if you say then nerf the damage, imagine how bad her damage would be without getting crits. This is the best way for her primary fire to be.
lmao she does 84 dmg total per left click, making it a really good base primary fire. heals more than lifeweaver's 80 and ana's 75 too for primary healing. Add crits and she would consistently 3 shot squishies, making her primary fire way too on par with dps heros.
The only problem I have with juno is that if she wants to use her missiles for offensive purposes she puts herself in a vulnerable position and can do anything but move side to side maybe have the missiles lock on faster and have it so she can shoot use ability etc but have a three second timer and anyone in her los gets hit but probably lower the damage for offensive missiles
I feel that the projectiles for her lock on thing need to move a bit faster they feel slow so it's easy for enemies to dodge around a corner and it takes too long to heal teammates
I do not see a single reason to play her in comp if she releases like this if you actually want to rank up when you can just go baptiste who does significantly more damage and more importantly, has much higher kill potential and has much better survivability. Also both can go shoot from the same angles due to their jumps where Juno just gives a meh speed boost when you can just play Lucio

Ignore what I said about heal, it's really good either way. It can't negate burst, but she wasn't meant to, like Illari main heal for example. Her falloff heal can maybe be lengthened, but honestly she's pretty good either way
Between most her health being shields and the support passive, I think her escape abilities make up for her not having a non-ult self heal. I also like her gun the way it is, supports shouldn't be more powerful than dps, though I don't like having healing falloff on her gun.
The only change I’d make is a minor increase to her projectiles. Especially on console i can easily miss allies when healing. Other than that, i think she’s ready
She needs one tiny buff since she can’t heal herself like make it if your teammates are full hp then is shoots past teammates and hits enemies that are behind the teammate
I just think they need to make her movement ability (the glide boost) feel like a little more fluid and she will be great, shes already super fun though
my only misgivings about the character is that she does NOTHING to armour, legit like 30 damage per burst; and it takes 6 or 7 bursts to just get a reinharts armour down. I know she isnt supposed to do that, and that isnt a supports job; but she feels far more vulnerable than other supports. Also, she feels horrible against moira, unless you hit EVERY SINGLE bullet, you can't outdamage her life steal, and thats without her using orb either. it should be slightly higher, not too much, but enough to where she has the ability to outplay people if the player is skilled enough.
One thing iv notice with her watching streams, she’s being used as helping DPSing more then any healers So got me thinking, what if she’s just another DPS hero but that can heal a little? Ya u need one HEAVY healer but, she could chnage the meta with being extra DPSing Or I’m completely wrong lol
she can totally replace lucio in a comp as an off healer and a pseduo main healer, since her main projectile damages and heals for 84 total. Her right click damages for 75 and heals 75 + 60 overtime she can't 3 tap heros like illari and kirko (no headshot multiplier) unless in ultimate her mobility is great to evade flankers and dealing 84 per burst makes her good at dueling them.
Na you’re right, I’ve seen 3 streamers already using this hero for primarily DPS. Juno is definitely more of a complex character, so for lower ranks, she’ll definitely be used for DPS

I found eliminating her with doom to be quite trivial if you land the punch to start off. Though i suppose it also requires practiced hands to play Juno well enough as the players ive seen didnt do much.
Even if they buff her speed ring it wouldn’t make Lucio useless because both speed boosts stack so if anything it would make Lucio MORE useful since u could run hyper rush comps
The only buffs I think there should be are being able to shoot while charging right click and maybe a boost to jump in addition to the speed for the ring
In all fairness to the complainers, she feels like the third most helpless support if she gets isolated and singled out in a 1v1 by other dps and healers. Like mercy and Lifeweaver are the only 2 who feel more helpless when caught alone. All the other healers either have really good damage to win a 1v1 or escape abilities. She has movement but she doesn’t really escape a bad situation that easy. It’s also really not satisfying being unable to do headshot damage.
Juno is a pretty good and skillful “healer” no buff and no nerf. Just perfect. Her heals are very strong which is good and her damage isn’t the best so she isn’t the best for dps. Her ult is like a whole team nano. She is perfect just how she is. Not to broken but not too bad.
You know at first I thought she needed buff but I think she’s actually perfectly fine you have to actually try and I’m enjoying that it makes her fun and her movement is AMAZING

Obviously this is Jay3 so he’s gonna have the most healing in the game no matter what support character he plays lol, but I feel for the average gold, platinum player, Juno’s healing won’t be as good. It’s like Ana mains, requires you to aim, but you can’t even zoom in with Juno so most people will just rely on her abilities and ult to heal, especially for people who have bad aim… At the same time though, her mobility is ridiculous and makes her a hard target to hit. Speeding away and flying, ya you’re gonna need to bust out a DVA or Sombra. We already have to deal with Lucio doing that, and her abilities and ult are basically a mixture of Mercy, Lucio, and Liveweaver, but just tweaked a little. Her mobility definitely makes up for the lack of heals, but I already foresee many people using this support character as a DPS… which I’m not looking forward to..

My issue is I cannot deal with a tracer or sombra. Like I can't really do anything with tracer harasses me and if I try to run away with hyper ring and shift I still get stomped 😭😭 I do try to stay by my team but its frustrating facing good tracers

The shields feel like self sustain in their own way, she can regenerate so fast I barely have to sit around before I can get back in the fight

Between most her health being shields and the support passive, I think her escape abilities make up for her not having a non-ult self heal. I also like her gun the way it is, supports shouldn't be more powerful than dps, though I don't like having healing falloff on her gun.
I'm still waiting for a healer with a shotgun.

The only change I’d make is a minor increase to her projectiles. Especially on console i can easily miss allies when healing. Other than that, i think she’s ready

She needs one tiny buff since she can’t heal herself like make it if your teammates are full hp then is shoots past teammates and hits enemies that are behind the teammate

I think no self heal is deliberate: they gave her shield hp like zen to heal really quickly when not damaged for a little while.
I just think they need to make her movement ability (the glide boost) feel like a little more fluid and she will be great, shes already super fun though
Jay on support is a violation
my only misgivings about the character is that she does NOTHING to armour, legit like 30 damage per burst; and it takes 6 or 7 bursts to just get a reinharts armour down. I know she isnt supposed to do that, and that isnt a supports job; but she feels far more vulnerable than other supports. Also, she feels horrible against moira, unless you hit EVERY SINGLE bullet, you can't outdamage her life steal, and thats without her using orb either. it should be slightly higher, not too much, but enough to where she has the ability to outplay people if the player is skilled enough.
They have got to buff mercy’s healing
They need to make her right click more noticeable when it's on allies/enemies

One thing iv notice with her watching streams, she’s being used as helping DPSing more then any healers
So got me thinking, what if she’s just another DPS hero but that can heal a little? Ya u need one HEAVY healer but, she could chnage the meta with being extra DPSing

she can totally replace lucio in a comp as an off healer and a pseduo main healer, since her main projectile damages and heals for 84 total. Her right click damages for 75 and heals 75 + 60 overtime
she can't 3 tap heros like illari and kirko (no headshot multiplier) unless in ultimate
her mobility is great to evade flankers and dealing 84 per burst makes her good at dueling them.
Na you’re right, I’ve seen 3 streamers already using this hero for primarily DPS. Juno is definitely more of a complex character, so for lower ranks, she’ll definitely be used for DPS

I found eliminating her with doom to be quite trivial if you land the punch to start off. Though i suppose it also requires practiced hands to play Juno well enough as the players ive seen didnt do much.
Even if they buff her speed ring it wouldn’t make Lucio useless because both speed boosts stack so if anything it would make Lucio MORE useful since u could run hyper rush comps
She doesnt need a buff, shes one of those characters that would be broken just from too many micro buffs

The only buffs I think there should be are being able to shoot while charging right click and maybe a boost to jump in addition to the speed for the ring
In all fairness to the complainers, she feels like the third most helpless support if she gets isolated and singled out in a 1v1 by other dps and healers. Like mercy and Lifeweaver are the only 2 who feel more helpless when caught alone. All the other healers either have really good damage to win a 1v1 or escape abilities. She has movement but she doesn’t really escape a bad situation that easy. It’s also really not satisfying being unable to do headshot damage.

If you don't lock onto anyone, the cooldown is 5 seconds I believe. I think that is fair

i dont think the damage is bad but the fact it is split across a 12 bullet burst, but the hitscan and flight should more than make up for that
Pretty sure she’s projectile but she might as well be hitscan with her bullet speed
She shoots about the same dmg/heal as Ana but slower, like healing with Bap with his primary but bigger projectile
think they need to reduce her ult charge a bit, her ult is really fucking strong and she gets it so fast

Juno is a pretty good and skillful “healer” no buff and no nerf. Just perfect. Her heals are very strong which is good and her damage isn’t the best so she isn’t the best for dps. Her ult is like a whole team nano. She is perfect just how she is. Not to broken but not too bad.
You know at first I thought she needed buff but I think she’s actually perfectly fine you have to actually try and I’m enjoying that it makes her fun and her movement is AMAZING
Hard to say with him against random rank viewers, but she seems pretty well balanced (and quite fun).. maybe slight tweaking, though definitely doesn't need a buff

Look this may sound broken but what if the enemy team gets slowed when they go threw the speed ring which Lucio would be a good counter to Juno which he can speed his team up if they go through a speed ring
Obviously this is Jay3 so he’s gonna have the most healing in the game no matter what support character he plays lol, but I feel for the average gold, platinum player, Juno’s healing won’t be as good. It’s like Ana mains, requires you to aim, but you can’t even zoom in with Juno so most people will just rely on her abilities and ult to heal, especially for people who have bad aim… At the same time though, her mobility is ridiculous and makes her a hard target to hit. Speeding away and flying, ya you’re gonna need to bust out a DVA or Sombra. We already have to deal with Lucio doing that, and her abilities and ult are basically a mixture of Mercy, Lucio, and Liveweaver, but just tweaked a little. Her mobility definitely makes up for the lack of heals, but I already foresee many people using this support character as a DPS… which I’m not looking forward to..

My issue is I cannot deal with a tracer or sombra. Like I can't really do anything with tracer harasses me and if I try to run away with hyper ring and shift I still get stomped 😭😭 I do try to stay by my team but its frustrating facing good tracers

the gun does feel a little weak so i think they should get rid of the damage falloff
