The implication that Alucard and Simon (Juste’s grandfather) had a close relationship is something I’d definitely want to explore considering that they never met in the games.
Not only that, but if Simon was already a grandfather when Alucard decided to leave, it means that he was the one Belmont that made Alucard say "enough" and didn't want to see die.
@hahaimout1693 I really hope we see this version of Simon and how they'll tie him in the story as Dracula's role in his story is far to large to simply remove. Who knows, they'll probably reveal that, like Sehkmet, Dracula's soul was divided into two or some magical bull crap.

It's a shame that they never had any major prior history here. Given Juste's backstory in this series meant he gave up on fighting vampires after his wife died, was ripe territory to explore. Maybe Juste blamed Alucard for not saving his wife, or Alucard didn't like to see Trevor and Sypha's descendent give up on the family legacy. It would have been an interesting juxtaposition to watch the blossoming relation Alucard had with Richter, whilst repairing his fragile relationship with Juste.
