    I'm not saying this guide is bad, but exploring strategies by card is an ineffective way of communicating winning by Scar, because so much of what to use and when depends on what stage of the game you are at. Most of the effects are discard fodder until you've set up your hyenas, but are extremely useful afterwards.
    I'll give an example based on your video: Whisper. You talk about how to use whisper, but it doesn't really convey when to use it. Timing is a huge part of Scar's gameplay, and if I were making a guide about how to play Scar, I would talk about what to do at each step: what to do at opening (play hyenas, kill heroes, discard effects), when to bring out mufasa (when you can kill him immediately), and how to handle the post-mufasa phase (be aware of what heroes add up to 15 succession, how many Hakuna Mattata are left in the deck, and what hyenas, stampedes you have).

      I agree with you. My videos are just basic introductory guides. They are meant for the casual gamer who may just be starting out and wants to up their game a little higher. After I finish all of these, I plan on doing an "ADVANCED" Villainous guide series for the more seasoned players.

    I’ve found you can’t really stop scar from killing heroes. He does it so well. You just have to delay him with the right fate cards so he has to spend more resources than he wants to.

      Oh? If you get Mufasa with prophecy and stick and simba elsewhere … 😈

      @@theabsentfriend4002 you just can’t be scared to fate scar. It’s your only chance to win is slow him down.

    I'm curious, why the Graveyard as the feeding ground of choice?

    • @theblindjedi41
      @theblindjedi41 Год назад +1

      I would say it’s place on the board plus the bottom actions are fantastic for getting the murder started. Especially with a stampede.

      @@theblindjedi41 It depends on what works for you I suppose, but I would rather have access to the double play for speed, and defend the top Fate at the Savannah.

      @@ericlager4512 I know a lot of players will cover it anyways too. So might as well use that to your advantage to keep clearing out top space.

      Because the opponents are more than likely going to place heroes on the double card play action there, so if that’s the feeding ground, opponents may not want to place heroes there. 😁

      @@theabsentfriend4002 very valid point. Using death to scare opponents does work. Plus use can use stampede to move heroes there when ready to kill them.
