Don't know if you'll see this message - but may I have permission to sample a few drum loops out of this video's audio to possibly use in a song? I really like the tone of those toms and your snare in particular. If I did use it, chances are I'd slice up the beat into something unrecognizable anyway, but I like asking permission when possible anyhow. Also - as an electronic music producer (i make experimental idm, breakcore and industrial in particular) , I don't know much about "real" drums - may I ask what kind of snare you're using here?
That's how you tune most roto-toms, by turning them.... Or should I say fine tune them, you still have to tune the heads like any other set of toms... The 6" is the hardest on mine, always seems to be too high or low???
This is played on repeat in the background whilst I study. Thank you.
Loving the rotos! btw those splash sounds are incredible. Nice demo!
I just got a set of these for my kit and man what an awesome addition to my drums I love them!
Makes me want to watch Miami Vice.
Very well made demo, thanks!
This is going to blow your mind, but you can actually play the Rototoms in a different order than just high to low!
Veritas, you speak the truth, but yer a Wild Man!!
It drove me ducking crazy lol
What…?!! How?!!
I ain’t buying it.
Love the groove
UFIP Natural old generation as a hihat? Sounds nice.
Hats sound great
Would love to know what kind of splash you are playing. Sounds fantastic!
It looks like an HHX 8 inch, maybe 10 inch...

Cool drumming dude
Thanks for demo!
Sublimey
Can you tell me what is that for a great sounding splash and size as well? Thanks a lot :)
They seem good for the money.
This could easily be a Sepultura song 😁
Sound nice. What make are these?
thanks Matt, not sure, I don't think there is any label indicating the brand on them
They look like a Remo knock-off -- but you may already know that.
massa demais que som definido
Best tuning for roto toms. The 6" is tuned close to E.
Don't understand why more players don't use these!?
Cool...what splash and hihats are you playing ?
thanks mate, 7" Sabian HHX Evolution splash, 13" Ufip Natural top + 13" Ufip Extatic bottom
Would it be frowned upon to put dampeners on those😂
Definitely lol
@@spartandrew8672 oh well😈
What slash cymbal is the small one? Thanks
7" Sabian HHX Evolution

@@Churchloverboy ok thanks, I bought some Gammon Roto's recently and demoed them on my channel
@@jskypercussion are they good?
@@jskypercussion how do u think of them do they sound like the toms that you tune, like the normal ones
After hearing vinnie play roto back in the zappa tour. That's the only person i wanna hear.
What is that splash cymbal?
10" (top) & 7" (bottom) Sabian HHX Evolution
Could someone please tell me how the pitch changes when they are rotated? Good demo btw.
By rotating the heads they tighten and loosen the head producing different pitches.
okay cheers

All I need is a 6in.
How much were they?
For all three they retail quite cheap, at around 125 USD in most places, I bought mine for 199 AUD.
What setting should a Roto Tom be on a Drum dial?
Barry Fuller
Where ever you want it to be
