Did the exact same thing with xanax and percocet. It never works. We're addicts, there is no "taper" or limit. It's excess, or nothing. Cold turkey and never looking back was the only way I was able to beat it. Even then, 6 years later and I still think about it every other day. Blade, it's looking like he might not ever get sober. It took me hitting total rock bottom, and then some. But he's been close to the bottom for a while now and it hasn't changed anything

My opinion, a drunk does say what a sober heart feels, but when you reach the point of sloppy or black out, you turn into a trouble maker and do things you would never think to do normally. Ask anyone who has blacked out when they hear the story of what happened last night at some point there is always a “no way I did that, I would never do that.” I do not know what that means exactly outside the alcohol fogging your perception of right and wrong
Not wrong at all. I used to drink like blade (but Binging on weekends / randomly when out) and holy shit.
The troublemaker point is interesting cause I am a pretty law abiding citizen until I get blackout drunk; then I'm just carrying random shit home (Roadsigns and Traffic Cones, one day I found an ATM Receipt Roll which became a MEGA NOTEPAD haha)
it also crossed over into borderline trespassing and vandalism though - if I wanted to go somewhere i'd do it.
My wake up point was somewhere between being overseas alone @ 21 and losing everything except my passport and a few years back I was still waking up on train tracks to cops poking me with a stick every now n then.
It really scared me but, even then addiction is like Fool's Gold.. When you hit the node it feels like your striking absolute money. The day after is when hindsight kicks in and I still get tricked often.

What I learned from this: Blade actually enjoys being a live streamer while wings hate his job/life. Blade has no problem owning up to his failures and wings won’t even look in the mirror.

It doesn't change the fact he's right, though. I saw someone who was in the hospital after a period of alcoholism and her hands and forearms looked and felt like over-filled water balloons. I had never in my life seen anything like that it was horrifying.

My favourite blade "playful and weird" use of the n word was when he met this black guy somewhere and the guy introduces himself as "Edward" but blade being blade heard "N word" and kept asking him if his name really was n word hahaha
This was hard to watch. I don't think Blade is as evil as some people seem to think he is. Alcohol makes you do terrible things sometimes. You can tell he knows he's an addict and it seems like sometimes he's just about ready to do something about it. Hopefully soon he does. He's always been entertaining to watch, you gotta give him that, booze or not. He seems like an alright dude that is facing the same problems all addicts face.
He genuinely seems like a fairly decent dude when he's sober and or not surrounded by cringe streamer kids in adult bodies. It's honestly kinda hilarious, how even when blade is wasted and shouting the N word, hes still more likeable than Boogie and Wings. They're totally SOBER and they still act the way they do. At least Blade has more of a reason 😂
