This is what happens if you give Topaz Video AI some absolutely trash footage. This was a 2006 xmas present that was originally formatted for an iPod screen (yes before the phones). 320x184 upscaled to 1080P with HEAVY compression fixing and as much detail recovery as I could crank in.
Someone gave me the idea to recover this video and it actually converted in only 6 minutes.
This and the bonus one from HAARP's CD are the only proshots/pro audio we have of COD. Dammit why are they so allergic to just upload pro gigs man, I'd buy the shit out of that. Great work btw!
So glad it worked! Clearly the AI struggles with darker scenes, but the ones with more light are much more in detail, very cool! Definitely my go to version of this performance now, thanks for making it!
yeah if the AI can't clearly get detail it needs to upscale it has to basically guess. Lighting def impacts these shows the most.
