Don’t use on a large tractor as it will not touch the ground. I have a 120hp New Holland and with my arms down it’s still off the ground by 1 inch. You need a smaller tractor for these scrapers.

Can you tell me what degree the cutting blades are set at? I ask because I notice most are 6 degree and some are 10 degree supposably able to cut and scape easier?

I am not sure if I should be purchasing a grading scraper or a box blade. What is the difference? Thanks in advance.

A Box Blade has a third wall as the back of the attachment, the Grading Scraper does not (just has sides). So the Box Blade will move more volume of dirt/material from point A to point B. It requires a little more finesse if leveling a driveway, because you have to raise and lower the attachment to let dirt/gravel flow out the back. But it's a little more versatile than a Grading Scraper. The Grading Scraper, however, is easier to use when leveling driveways because all you have to do is drop it on the ground and go. All the material that builds up within the cutting edges eventually flows out the back because there's no wall. You don't really need to feather the controls like you do on the Box Scraper. Hope this helps.

What type of jobs do you need to do? This will help with picking the right implement.

Thanks for that. Actually I was just interested in doing a gravel and rock driveway. Why what else can the box blade/grading scraper do?
