Nidia Lloyd, You need to get your nose from in between Sophia Bush's ass cheeks. Jason Beghe and Jon Seda carried Chicago PD when Bush was on there and they're STILL carrying the show. Bush was a solid actress, but she wasn't anything special. For anything, the chick who plays Burgess is a way better actress than Bush was.
SAN DIEGO PADRES wow, dude! Lighten up. The fact that I like an actor and you don't is no reason to throw down. All of the acting and writing on Chicago PD is excellent. That's why we watch. And if Sophia Bush continues to work, no one will force you to watch.
She will be i na new show called Surveillance on CBS i think....
She was trash. Loved it when she left. Haven't missed an episode since.

@RONI Olinsky was my favorite; he was a badass with heart. I don't miss the drama from Bush and her mom; it was too much: Voight was spot on about her mom; lol, like this is real life. My parents loved the show, and now I know why, from reruns on ION TV. 👏😊
Sofia was a bad ass ,and very easy on the eyes. Im really missing her on this show.

Season's 2 & 3 I liked best ( officer Sean Roman era and Burgess was still a street cop....Sgt Trudy Platt busting balls those two seasons was awesome and very funny ).

Why can't male actors behave themselves at work? Why do female actors have to put with shit until they can't take anymore and leave leaving the fans of the show punished because their favorite characters are gone? She handled it well calmly talking to supervisors about it and not naming names.
I don't know but that behavior isn't limited to the entertainment industry, however I think they are allowed to get away with far more there because men run most of the shows and don't see a problem with it.

We never know the truth; but the general assumption is that men are doing some bad things and women are the victims. Ask every man in the UK who works in an office building as to why they never get into an elevator when there is only one women already in the elevator, or bound to enter the elevator with only 1 woman because there is nobody else around. Because there have been many cases when some women ripped 2 buttons off their blouses between floors and they got hundreds of thousands sterling pounds as ''victims'' of alleged sexual harassment lawsuits. UK judges rule 99,99% in favor of women when it is her word against his. I am not saying that men are saints, quite a far cry from that, but we never know the truth unless proved by audio/video. What I am saying is this and only this: let us not jump to conclusions unless backed by hard evidence.
I loved Sophia character,and wish her well on any endeavors she may come across,much love,happiness,and wellness and great success to you Miss Bush or Mrs,whichever may apply.Just an old woman from the south.....

Good for her. Everyone deserves to be happy. She seems to say that she is protective of her co workers. Considers them family. Obviously, there's a couple that she is not comfortable with. Actor or Boss? Strong woman. Love that.
She left for 3 reasons, 2 of them big. 1) Jason Beghe has his temper tantrums on the set, and she hated it. 2) The crew would not stop pinching her ass at will. 3) Minor - She hated filming in the Chicago winters outside. She has confirmed all of this.

Why they leave a show where they are loved (ex: Cote de Pablo leaving NCIS) is something we may not like but have to respect because only they know the real reason. I really missed Ziva and never watched the show again. I miss Erin but love the rest of the cast and the show is great.

Sophia has to dance a fine line with being an actress and an activist. That's a hard balancing act to do. Especially in the belly of the beast where her activism on the surface is praised, but then the reality is she comes off like a malcontent and nothing is ever done with the changes she's wanting. The me too movement is legit but the powers that be squashes that with the swiftness. Hollywood will never truly clean up its act but will provide lip service until you cross a line.

@diascrive You got that right. Difficult chicks like Sophia Bush, Katherine Heigl, Janet Hubert-Whiten, and others, you see where their careers ended up. And if they got work, it was stuff nobody ever heard of or that was critically panned.

I just started this a couple weeks ago and was wondering what made her leave! I hate she wasn’t happy on set because her character is a big part of the show.
Gosh I loved her character & Chicago PD ....will miss her. But a dye hard fan.
The show won't be affected much by people leaving, except perhaps Beghe. Even Seda left for awhile and it was still fine. No one's indispensable.
Erin was my fav Antonio mouse n the rest are alright but Erin and her brother character.
I kinda find it very hard to believe Jason was the reason she left
since I keep hearing different stories on why she left that it just doesn't make any sense anymore

I think the cold weather was probably a big reason also. You know, all in all, it was just too much. Most women don't have the choice to leave their jobs, she was lucky she didn't need the job to survive.

He apparently had some issues with his group that he was unwilling to resolve. He went public with his side of the story and made it even worse. It's unfortunate that he doesn't seem to have the integrity or fairness in his personal life that he does on-screen.

From what I read, she left cuz of Beghe’s anger management issues. It made no mention of sexual harassment or misconduct.
Whatever the case may be, the show works just fine without Bush, however, it doesn’t work without Beghe.
I get the sense that both actors are very difficult to work with. I’m not sure what she wanted to change on the show or behind the scenes but I guess her “star power” just wasn’t enough. She was great on this show but it seemed like every storyline was about her but now that she’s gone, I’m diggin the direction the show is going, minus what happened to Alvin.

Matt Skinner, You hit the nail right on the head. I read and heard that part of the reason why Bush left the show was because after a while, she couldn't take the male testosterone vibes on the set. If her ass (Bush) couldn't put up with a SERIOUS police procedural dominated by male testosterone on the set, then she shouldn't have took the part as Erin Lindsay.

They just renewed Season 12 of Chicago PD, hopefully Lindsay returns, something is supposed to happen with Voight next season in the finale, halstead still has feelings for Lindsay that’s why he’s in the army in Bolivia to know who he was and being an detective with the intelligence unit whenever he comes back and we’re gonna see a happy ending because Halstead still has that ring when he was about to purpose to her in Season 4’s finale, #linstead are Endgame
I love Sophia Bush but I have to commend her as a human being. She has to do what is best for herself and that's clearly what she did. I will miss her. Good luck on what is next for you

Didn't care about the show before I knew she was on it and don't care about it now that she's left. She seems to be a genuinely nice person (see the story about her taking her driver and life-long Cubs fan to one of the 2016 World Series games at Wrigley).
Minus her, I liked the show better when it was on FX and called "The Shield", to say *nothing* of when it was on HBO, had Idris Elba, and was called "The Wire".

Jesus. Do not compare this show to The Shield or The Wire. Not even in the same league. Nowhere near.
The major difference is that The Shield is from 20th Century Fox, The Wire is from HBO/Warner Bros. and Chicago PD is from NBC/Universal.

his voice was not always that way... he pulled a tube out while in the hospital in real life... it damaged his vocal cords... if i remember correctly, he was in a motorcycle accident... either way his voice is hot lol

Even though she left the show whatever the reason it’s still a good show and they’ve found someone to replace her so her departure from the show didn’t change the whole dynamic of the show
She also reportedly left Chicago PD because of the harsh winters....nobody knows why she left.

i still think they wrote her out quite badly like with Jay. no offensive but all there history together even when they werent together or angry they had each others back. and she says bye to Voight but not jay? werid as hell but aleast they wrote it shes still alive and not dead. so if they possibleablity dose come. even tho its a very small % she could come back.

Kind of went off Chicago PD after Sophia quit. Not just because I liked her character and like her in general (one of my favourite actresses), but knowing her reasons why she quit and the mistreatment she got from Jason Beghe...completely tarnished my view of the show now. She tried to let Dick Wolf know of the problems she was having from Jason and he did nothing about it. No wonder she threw in the towel. And to know it wasn't just the sexually inappropriate behaviour towards the female cast but also his bullying and intimidation tactics. And his excuse is he has a bad temper when things aren't done right...I wonder how much longer the show can continue because it seems no one wants to work with Beghe. I wonder if that's why Jon Seda quit, or Elias Koteas...just fed up of the bad atmosphere on set. It's a shame, I still liked the show and the character of Voight up until I discovered all of this.
I feel sorry for her that she had to put up with this before from the maker of One Tree Hill, finally got away from that, only to face the same problem on Chicago PD. And yet some people slam Sophia for being 'another dumb Hollywood liberal' because she stands up for feminism and highlighting sexual misconduct, misogyny and sexism...I say good on her. I have a lot of respect for her.
Plus, in my opinion it was better in the early seasons anyway. I preferred it when you had the main Intelligence Unit upstairs with their storyline and then Burgess downstairs on patrol with Atwater or Roman working for Platt with their own subplot. Was more interesting getting to see both patrol and Intelligence going about their day.

100% agree. I loved her character and she was a captivating actress. Yes, another reason I stopped watching is because of Beghe's behaviour. I mean, how could I support this show after how they let Sophia be mistreated. Sophia is amazing and she does not deserve any of this. She deserves to be happy working in a show
