I think he will return as jay halstead if the show goes beyond season 12 he is going onto FBI international sadly not as jay tho😢 but the doors still open for him to come back as jay as they didnt kill him off. Maybe in fbi international we get a backstory that reveals hes changed his name ? Who knows
🤔 The Jay character was such a hypocrite...do as I say not do as I do. Just to name a few cases Jay complained about Voight but his wife Hailey killed a man and he helped cover it up. He harassed and stalked a pedophile for killing a young boy but he had the wrong guy, the father was guilty of the crime. Although his character helped with the balance of the show I'm conflicted about my feelings of him being gone.
Yes he got very very annoying. Him & Kevin really picked up the mantle for Antonio😂. Honestly tho, Ruzek got way less cocky & more of a good cop so it wasn’t allll bad.
That’s a damn lie, the guy did kill the kid. His dad killed him but tried to set jay up for killing his son when it was really him that killed his son. You should know what you are talking about before you say anything.
I'm glad he left. He wasn't loyal to Voight or Haley. And every serious scene he always had a small grin on his face. He really doesn't know how to act. He is very scripted in his performance. Good bye Halstead!

You all realize that this is a character in a TV show ! I don't think some of you do! Get a grip on reality people! I don't have a problem with the actor, just the character! Does everyone understand? I'm not so sure!
