Listen, women especially women of color are subject to a lot of scrutiny and ridicule. "Why don't you exercise" "why don't you lose weight", that's what we get. Instead of uplifting we break each other down. Instead of offering encouragement and emotional support, we bash. The fact that so many women are taking the "easy" way out is jarring. I'm concerned about the mentality of these women and why they feel the need to take such drastic measures. We need to fight the depression, lack of self confidence, self loathing, hate speech and lack of self care for our girls.
You can uplift someone WHILE recommending that they workout and fix their diet. The problem is, for a lot of these women, that it takes a lot more time and discipline than paying for a surgery.

For example, people are literally taking horse dewormer to prevent covid infection just because someone suggested it. There's decades of misinformation forcefully fed into my community, especially concerning health, that will take decades to reprogram. There's women who simply don't know and if they learn, it'll take some time to break the habits that's been ingrained for generations. Also, not to forget a lot of women suffer from mental illness that hinder that drive to get fit or healthy when unhealthy food and lifestyle creates a dangerous instant gratification. The point I'm making is, as soon as a black woman gets a procedure here comes all of the people who suggested we were the bottom of the totem pole anyway, saying they shouldn't get the work done and that they're lazy smh. It's a double edged sword and it's getting played. Literally EVERY race, ethnicity, culture gets enhancements to their physical appearance but the world stops turning when black women do it.

I’m not trying to make light of their concerns, but a lot of this sounds like poor post op care, which is on the patient. And a lot of it is super easily preventable and treatable. I could say more on this, but I ain’t tryna ruffle no feathers lol. I will say that I do not think it’s a coincidence that bbls (the surgery associated specifically with black women) keeps getting so much negative attention.
I actually worked there. What these women are saying is absolutely correct and true. The only preventative measure is to not have your procedure done there in this unsanitary, unsafe, unskilled facility.

But when it comes to goals this is not the case bc they provide post op massages to their clients in there package and It’s nasty ppl getting massages next to eachother in very small Inclosed spaces and post op therapist touching that curtain with fluid released from the patients so I hear u but with goals this is not the case. ! I know women that went there that did post op religiously and got horrible results . ( I myself had two rounds

A lot of these injuries occur after surgery if you are not properly taken care of your wounds not getting the massages recommended after a BBL etc. you get dimpling when you do not wear your faja you get the extra swelling and fluid buildups when you do not get your massages as recommended and the burns on the skin come from fajas that are not worn properly so to say that it's the surgeon's fault not always unless the surgeon is not a surgeon. aftercare is a must when getting a BBL

You have the best results when your BMI is within the limits they are supposed to be for height/weight. The young lady did not appear to be within her range. She seemed to have a lot of fat. The first thing they should have told her was to lose weight. She was not a good candidate. Females may not realize that a tummy tuck will also enhance the result. 2:57 "...make sure we closing out.
