HOW TO FIX THE MODULE NOT SWITCHING TO REAR VIEW CAMERA WHEN USE CARPLAY & ANDROID AUTO REVERSE GEAR

In some Peugeot & Citroen cars with SMEG or SMEG+ multimedia system, when you install the Android Auto & Apple Carplay module it will not automatically switch to the image of the reversing camera, in this video you will see the solution. A cable is needed from the positive wire of the running lamp back to the module and there a switching relay is installed to give the REVERSE signal in the Carplay Android Auto core.

Good modification, should you add a reverse bias diode to the relay coil? Used to do this to stop the back EMF frying the switching transistor. Depends how the module switches the reverse bulb on I guess, it may already be through a relay.
