  • Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer has told MPs Boris Johnson's partygate account becomes "more extraordinary" every day.
The crucial PMQs began with Conservative MP Christian Wakefield defecting to Labour just minutes before the event was due to begin.
Sir Keir said the PM's latest claims suggest his staff were not being truthful when it was alleged they warned him about the lockdown-busting Downing Street party on 20 May 2020.
He said: "It requires the Prime Minister to expect us to believe that while every other person... was told it was a social occasion, he alone was told it was a work meeting."
Sir Keir asked if the PM realised how "ridiculous that sounds"?

Trace of sense. Boris looks like the PM really. By all accounts Winston stuffed up his six months trial re-employment opportunity as Civilian Sea Lord in 1939-40.; He , HMS Exeter and RNZN did take out Graf Spee, which meant Hitler didn't complete the Heavy cruiser Seydlitz. Like now in 1939 Churchill was nearly deselected from his constituency seat Hitler just went for it too fast like Putin.

Of course there are going to be less numbers when they stopped PCR tests being mandatory for isolation and are relying on Lateral Flow Tests which are nowhere near as accurate. Johnson lies all the time about everything. He is trying to say that if brexit hadn't have happened we would have had to have waited for the vaccine rollout which is untrue. 3 EU countries organised their own vaccine rollout independent of the European directive. A check of the rules proved this. Michael Gove had to admit that was the case when interviewed last year about it on the news channels. Lying is a way of life for Johnson.
